Yeah, I'm really leaning towards going through with the implant . Pretty much at the point where I just wanna stop worrying about this thing and enjoy things the way they were meant to be (or in the bionic case, even better than regular guys haha)....kind of telling myself that yes there are risks but at the same time I'm putting myself in the hands of one of the top surgeons and would do the same when I eventually need further replacements down the road. ..
I had a similar reasoning - there are risks and complications. However, I did as much research as possible, and one of the top surgeons in the world as far as implants is concerned is doing this. So basically everything that was in my hands was done in the best way possible, the rest is in the hands of the surgeon.
If you were in the hands of an unknown surgeon, there'd be a lot to be concerned about, but under the circumstances you're in the probability for any serious complication is extremely minimal.
