Does Anyone know how many days Medicare will pay for a standard stay in the hospital? Will they pay for the night before surgery?
Anybody have surgery in the afternoon?

I don’t know about night before surgery, but Medicare requires overnight stay after surgery.

As was mine and Medi-care paid everything except the $350 co-pay. I went in at 6:00am and went home at 2:30 the same day.

I was in the medical facility for 23 hours (before and after antibiotics as well as the implant insertion). They told me that that amount of time would allow it still to be classified as out-patient surgery.
