So, today I got my implant. I got a coloplast titan 18cm + 3 cm RTEs. I am on the couch managing the mild/moderate pain with Norco and ice. I am doing fairly well. My surgeon did say that after measuring me and installing an 18 with 2rtes, he saw room to put one more rte in. He said the was a perfect fit! I am grateful he did not short me 1cm because he thought” this will do”. I’m excited to see the end result and plan on following the discharge instructions letter by letter.
My other reason for posting is I am endebted to you all on FT for your insight, advise, quips, and encouragement. When I realized my Peyronies and ED WAS FUTILE, I discovered FT and it was you all who have bridged this gap with knowledge and support that I could not get anywhere else. I posted some, I asked questions, i PMd a couple people for further details, and I spoke with Two gentlemen who I owe heaping helpings of gratitude to for helping me through one of the hardest times in my life.
As I look down at my mummy wrap, I think, “there is absolutely no way I would be here without all of you” my journey is full of hope. When I was entertaining the surgery initially, my wife said,” sex can’t get any worse, you might as well try” I know she meant this statement with the best intentions and actually it has become my mantra. So thank you one and all.
For those of you who are on the fence, use this forum to explore your questions, concerns, and I ASSURE YOU, you are in great hands. Other people’s experience is the best form of knowledge. And this group of guys will handle your questions with the utmost privacy and gentle care.

Kosh,
I am glad everything went well and you are recovering. Your surgeon is really patient oriented and has best patients interest on his heart.
I had my implant yesterday. It was also Coloplast TITAN OTR 18 cm + 1cm RTE. Placement of reservoir was problematic due to severe scaring post robotic prostatectomy and he made separate incision half way between my umbilicus and penis so reservoir was placed below umbilicus slightly to the right. I stayed overnight in the hospital and came home today around 1 pm.
Pain is minimal with some discomfort while getting in and out of chair. I am icing it on and off regularly and as of now swelling is not bad. I expect it to get worse.
All in all, way better then I expected.
Looking forward to healing.
I wish you to follow with good recovery.

MK-
I am doing ok. Thank you for checking in. I got the cowboy walk down to a T! I’d like to stop taking pain meds after tomorrow. I have spent most of my time on the couch legs elevated and iced. I had a drain that came out after day 2. It was no problem. The whole process has been more combersome than a real issue. If this is the worst of it, I’d say it’s going well. Tomorrow I plan on showering and unwrapping my bandages. Very hopeful for a successful outcome! I can’t believe I did it! I’m so excited to use it with my wife! In due time, for now, I must heal
How are you doing? How is your healing coming along? Fill me in on your recovery
