Solution to sitting
Solution to sitting
This is so simplistic it is almost too dumb to post but I am anyway. When the nurse took my stitches out she mentioned the trouble she had sitting after childbirth and how much a horseshoe nursing pillow helped. It got me thinking since I have tried soft pillows (worse than no pillow), a donut pillow, and a few other things like perching my tailbone on the edge of the seat. Today I focused on the issue and found two small pillows. I think folded or rolled up bath towels would do. I laid them on the seat of my desk chair in a "V" shape with the intersecting point of the "V" where my tailbone would be. It supports the back of my butt, supports the back of each leg, and totally takes the pressure off of the perineum and scrotum which is the problem area. This simple rig gave me total relief sitting where it was not bearable for more than a few minutes before.

I've been using a $9.99 inflatable donut from Walgreens. I'm gonna try your suggestion. I hate sitting on my balls.

I tried a donut and it did not work because it still puts pressure on the front. I think a horseshoe pillow probably would work if it was pretty open in the front. I can tell you, it is nice to be able to sit in decent comfort again. Also I tried a real soft pillow that just squished up against my scrotum worse than no pillow at all.
Good luck!

Hmm. Maybe one of those airplane neck pillows?

Maybe, but some so-called horseshoe pillows are too closed in the front and still put pressure in the area of the s scrotum and perineum area. If it is really open in the front like a horseshoe I am sure it would World great.

Re: Solution to sitting
OK, you inventors out there. Somebody needs to design a "penile implant recovery pillow"!
