62 years old. ED for years. High BP and meds have done me in. AMS 700 CX /3.0 cm RTE Implanted by Andrew Kramer on 10/12/16. Involved revision to relocate tubes and pump performed 12/29/16 by Dr. Knoll of Nashville, TN.

Well it's done I am now bionic.Dr Kramer said everything went great.He implanted a 700 lgx 23cm.
So far so good, I had a lot of pain last night I would say about a 7 on a pain scale of 1 to 10.When I removed the catheter this morning everything calmed down, and I feel great right now.My only concern now is I haven't had to piss yet, , It's been 3 hours since I took the catheter out.

Congratulations!! The tough part is over. Now you get to walk around with a stiffy for a few weeks, then your free to go.........!! Oh, and the hair has to grow back.

Thanks, right now I love looking at the stiffy its been a long time since it seen it like that.
Did it take you a long time before you could pee after you removed the catheter?. Im a little worried they said if I didn't piss in 8 hours to go straight to the er.

I had to drink a lot of water before I even had the urge. If you have the urge but can't, tell the nurse, or doctor.

Took 3-4 hours after the pulled mine too. Drink plenty of fluids so you have something to pee. Keep in mind, especially if you had epidural, it takes a while for the anesthetic to wear off for things to get back to working down there.

Thanks guys, after about two gallons of ice tea and five hours I finally pissed . Everything else seems to be going pretty good.I do get a dull pain every once in awhile in my balls.

Dull aches and sharp stabs from time time will be the norm for a while but they will subside. The stabs took longest for me to get over. Sometimes I would go for days and no stab then get on for a second. All will be well. Enjoy your tea.
