Thank you. I’ll be adding that to my arsenal.

I’m finishing up my 1st week of post surgery sex and am noticing that my pump eventually becomes smaller and extremely hard to press when I’m inflating. For my age, I’m still in good physical condition, nowhere close to a fitness freak or anything, but I’m in good shape & as strong as I was in my late 20s. I’m only saying that to emphasize that I feel like I should be able to pump more, but I physically can’t. I feel like I could easily handle more fluid, but I dont know why I can’t pump anymore into the cylinders. I’m pressing as hard as I can and am worried that I’m going to damage or absolutely rip the pump out of place. Any suggestions?
FIRST IMPLANT SEX-
And while I’m on the podium, I’ve got to share my post surgery sex story. It’s not the ‘thrill of a lifetime’ that some dudes write about, but it was solid; LITERALLY SOLID. With an implant, it seems like you become sort-of a virgin again because you’re dealing with uncharted territory. You know where all the parts go, but you don’t know how tf the parts are going to work together. I tried my best to not have any specific expectations, but it was nearly impossible to not have thoughts of giving her the best sex we’d ever had. Thoughts of her painting the ceiling in squirt, but come on…that’s not realistic. However, thanks to you guys, I knew the reality of my situation. Your stories have been very beneficial, so thanks to all who’ve shared.
Of course the initial performance anxiety was pretty high due to the unknowns. As a combat vet and service member for 22years…I knew better than to have expectations because as soon as something doesn’t fit within the confines of those expectations, it all hits the fan pretty dam quick.
But things have been clicking-along very well and I’m extremely happy with the reliability of my implant. I also think that my ed brought with it a lot of negative physical & mental issues that I’d kept bottled up. Now, without the added stress, things feel as normal as they have in a long time. My marriage has improved, but not solely due to our increased libido regarding ‘trying this thing out,’ the reduced stress in my marriage as a whole has been great. It’s been the most positive factor that has also carried more relaxation into the bedroom. My wife and I have always had a high-tempo sex life together. The surgical recovery time, plus 1 week prior to that, was our only break from sex. The day after a high dose of killer trimix combined with pills didn’t work…I booked surgery for a week later.
BUT—-the sex is different. It’s not better or worse, just different and not in a bad way. I do feel like my dick is skinnier than it was before surgery and that was one factor she told me as well, but I’m also a little over a month post-op. My wife is small so the length isn’t really a concern for me. Other than the girth, she’s said that when she leaned too far back while on top, it felt like something was poking her. She shifted her waist to ride me a little higher and then orgasmed; so it was all good. She’s still learning about this thing too, so she’s finding some uncomfortable spots. But she’s blown her twat every time we’ve done it though, and so have I.
My main concerns at this time are;
-hard bulb that I can’t press when inflated
-feeling like my dick is a little skinnier
-my wife’s getting poked (while she’s getting poked & there’s only 1 dude in the room that I know of)
-my dick leans to the left a little bit when erect
-Since we started having sex again, I’ve been getting some random pains in my side where the reservoir is. Sometimes a dull ache and other times it’s like a sharp pain that lasts a fraction of a second, then stops. They’re not consistent or constant, but they do surprise me in a very bad way.
-And finally, can I put a cock ring on this thing to help round-it-out? It seems a little flat. It’s noticeable when it’s inside her. (Or UroFill?)
Nice update Dprimal. I have a different brand/model IPP but have some similar things going on at 9 weeks post op. It's still very early on and I think you are likely doing fine. I still get various aches and pains without notice but the overall trend is a gradual improvement.
With my AMS LGX/MS pump the pump bulb gets quite stiff and hard to press once I'm fully inflated. I can often only get "mini" pumps in after that, which don't do much. I also feel that I should be able to get more pumps in but I think I'll have to wait until the IPP cylinders have stretched and "broken in" properly, along with the pump. My understanding is that it can possibly take many months of cycling for the LGX and my tunica albuginea to reach whatever maximum I can get. I don't know about the properties of the Titan. I'm taking a fairly aggressive approach with cycling and hope that will help. Things I've found that help me a little are pumping much more slowly and letting the bulb refill each time, having a break and doing Perito exercises before pumping further, also once I'm really hard squeezing the bulb much slower but very firmly.
I'm not sure girth is much different to what I used to have pre RRP but I really didn't take any measurements before ED set in. I'm hoping girth will increase a little more over the coming months but I'm not expecting miracles.
Yes sex is different. I hadn't had really "good" sex since pre prostatectomy, but now after four PIV sessions with the implant things are slowly improving.
It still hurts my dick but is pleasurable at the same time, and I've orgasmed three times so far. My wife hasn't complained of discomfort but I have noticed she seems to flinch occasionally; could be my imagination. She is a willing and supportive partner, and the longer we fuck the wetter she gets.
My dick leans (and bends) a bit to the right, mainly when erect. It's always been that way but the implant has exaggerated it a little. Not enough to be a problem so I'm not going to worry about it for now.
I tried a cock ring first time back in the saddle, maybe 10 days ago. But I found it too uncomfortable and it didn't seem to make any difference. So I took it off pretty quickly. I think the implant cylinders are way too hard when I'm fully erect for a cock ring to be effective, and it just puts extra pressure on my already sore dick. Again I think it just needs more time, and I might try one again later on.

Great information, it sounds like everything is proceeding very well for you!
I have an IPP scheduled for October with Dr. Hakky (so I can recover over winter instead of missing out on Summer months). Di you have an infrapubic or penoscrotal approach? He recommended Infrapublic for me due to slightly lower infection rates and easier recovery, but I like the idea of a hidden scar and less obvious tubing at the base of the penis.
Either way I know he's a great surgeon and it sounds like you're another satisfied customer!

Having read lots and lots of dude’s stories about these first few months, there are only a few things one can say with some certainty:
- Your sensations and hers are going to be in a state of flux for a few months as your equipment settles in;
- The shape/girth/length of your dick will change, likely for the better;
- Your confidence as you discover new superpowers will grow; and
- It will likely only get better.
But, it’s going to come in stages. I’m coming up on a year since implantation, and while things have definitely been settling down, some of it is only recent.
Be well, Leto

I had penoscrotal. Hakky didn’t seem to care which incision. However, I have an abundance of scar tissue in my lower abs from a shrapnel wound in Afghanistan, so he wanted to stay away from there. He’s a great doctor and good dude; very down to earth.
Dprimal wrote:GoodWood wrote:Congrats on your new implant. Sounds like you and the wife are approaching all of this with the right attitude.
I’m also in early days (6 weeks) so I know what you are going through.
When I can’t press the pump any more and it’s hard as a marble I know the cylinders are max inflated. The cylinders are limited in their expansion by the tunica albuginea. It’s a sheath of strong connective tissue that used to be around the corpora, the tissue that filled with blood to make the penis rigid. Now your cylinders are in there.

My penis is skinnier now as well. I was told to expect this by my surgeon but he also said that with cycling (max inflation, stay that way for 15,20,30 minutes) I’ll get some of that girth back. The tunica albuginea will be stretched by the pressure of the cylinders. It take months (up to a year) for that process to settle down.
Some guys do Perito Exercises (bending the penis up/down/side to side) when cycling. Look it up if you aren’t already familiar with it. He is an implant surgeon and has made YouTube videos about this.
But more fun than that are what I would call “modified Perito Exercises”. Fucking. THAT is a much more fun way to be inflated and bending up, down, side to side.
Regarding your wife feeling like she is being poked, experient with different levels of inflation. The best for me is just inflated enough for penetration. That still allows me to have the most engorgement of the glans and the tissue along the urethra on the underside. That cushions the tips and rounds out the penis. When I inflate past that and head towards max inflation the engorgement seems to get squeezed out.
Some guys mention using a cockring to help glans engorgement but I have no experience with that since getting implanted. I know some guys have used Trimix gel in the urethra to get glans engorgement too. But ai have not tried it and am so happy to not have to deal with Trimix anymore that I’m resistant to going down that road.
Enjoy and let us know what solutions you come up with.
Thank you for the insight. Does the marble pump mean that I’ve reach my total max? My shaft feels like it has more room for fluid, but with a marble pump, I can’t get anymore in there.
SWorks17 wrote:Dprimal, since you are a retired Vet, were you able to get a referral from Tri-Care Prime to see Dr Hakky in the Atlanta area and get your Bionic Dick covered by the military health care system?
I got my implant done at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, the largest military hospital in the nation. I probably could have gotten a referral to go to an implant doctor in San Antonio or Houston who did more implants but I felt comfortable with my doctor who was an Army Major Urologist.
Thank,
SWorks
