Why did you get a malleable duke ? Honestly, You are an inspiration to me and all young folks out there..and I want to really thank you on your journal..giving alot of hopes to desperate men out there....why would you let political correctness ruin such a beautiful insight and awareness ?

Quick reflection:

I'm 30 years old, did my initial surgery less than 2 1/2 years ago. Recovery from first surgery was not joke, but I got through it and despite some negatives, the implant shined, it was amazing. However, the implant failed amid terrible timing in my professional and personal life. I went through a revision surgery and now it's been 45+ days of alot of physical and mental strain due to the post op complications, which turned out to be an infection. I've been hospitalized for a week and odds are I'll be hospitalized for atleast another one fighting this infection.

So, it's been said the odds of an implant failing are roughly 2% for the first 3 years (or something, won't dig publications to properly cite the stats). Checked, I'm in this sample.
It's also been said that the odds of infection from a revision are doubled that from a virgin surgery. Virgin surgery (let's use a very high number) rate for infection: 5%, revision then: 10%. Checked, I'm also in this sample.

Math serves me correctly, 0.1*0.02=0.002=1/500. Either I'm the unlucky 1 out of 500 to have a premature failure AND have an infection from my first revision OR some or either of these stats (premature failure rate before 3 years / revision infection rate) are actually incorrectly or have been fabricated and maliciously reported through some of these publications due to lobbying / interest alignment related incentives. Of course, I can only speculate.

Regardless of the above, here's what I'm thinking:
There is no better alternative or solution to effectively cure ED. An implant quite literally does NOT cure ED but it does literally SOLVES the problem ED brings, which is making your dick hard.

So, I have currently lost faith in IPP's, It's likely I'll be forcibly trying the malleable experience because if it gets to point of having to go through a salvage, an IPP won't be an option.

Potential outcomes if things go south (as in, infection is not cured):
1) Titan Removed. Malleable installed. 4 months from now switch back to Titan.
2) Titan Removed. Malleable installed. 4 months from now keep Malleable.
3) Titan Removed. Malleable not installed. Limp dick for life.

What I currently want at this moment: I want a hard dick and do not want to have to go through another penile surgical procedure for the next 5 years.

So I lean towards option 2, unless:

Cconcealment. I have a job and career that isn't/won't be tolerant of an employee appearing to have an erection at all times. If it turns out that I cannot, as in, have zero chance of being able to properly conceal the malleable, then, and only then I'll put myself through this torturous path of having an inflatable implant properly installed once again and just roll the dice hoping I'm not in the unlucky sample once again. Changing careers is not an option. My wishful thinking is if JH2007 was able to conceal his porn actor tactra cock for most of his daily activities, I might also have a chance.

i had a doctor in egypt plop down the rigid ipp ,after i told him before i was not interested in any ipp , and that they have issues with reliability .
he looked me straight in the face and lied ,saying not anymore . They are better now and don't break .

by the way ,i dont know why the op lost that much length ,but i suspect it's from multiple surgeries and wait time in between .

I know that doctor by the way and had alot of disscusions with him..I managed to squeeze some truth from him but i won't disclose any...out of respect of his will to help out and true belief in the obligatory lie. Although very skilled , he couldn't say the truth as he will loose instantly multi-million dollar implant center...if not the biggest implant hub in the middle east...he built solely over 20 years (one of the reasons i called it a white lie or for a better word an "obligatory lie")...I can confirm he's one of the few who point out details alot of urologists miss..in history taking ,in physical examination and in giving information about implants (except the ipp reliability and overexaggerating its' benefits over mpp ) ..very skilled and very knowledgeble but again can't escape the ipp reliability lie for multiple reasons...

And yesss regarding loss of size post revisions...it's well documented and logical especially after an infection which happens more often with ipps....and they still say same crap about ipp preserving size...no not always...and the size loss in mpp is only significant in big dicks...only and onlyyy big dicks (not average or a little above average in terms of girth)..due to lack of bigger sizes as they can't go beyond 15 mm (like the indian shah) per rod as it migh compress the urethra and cause urinary problems ..... if your corpora acomodates 11 mm per rod it will still accomodate 11 mm through an inflatable no matter how big it could get in vitro...if it expands to be a planet, it will still be 11 mm in your dick...infact it will need tedious daily or semi daily cycling all the way.

Older is just a description that shouldn't offend anyone...It's like saying you are a white male (yesss we talk ethnicity,age and biologic sex in medicine because it matters). We are all humans who will share the same bed at the end.

I'm saying younger men should be aware that their challenges are different than that of the older...olders shouldn't get indulged by younger posts too....For instance, I recommend ipp for older folks..why not have the maximum experience (yet still see the driver's post and many others who suffered complications of the ipps in a matter of few months...PROSPECTIVELY boldly for those who say "those with problems show up")....I think older folks shouldn't be worried alot by the surgery/infection/erosions/revisions etc and go ahead with it...Ofcourse they gonna get worried alot (it's a surgery in a very sensitive part...they are slicing your best friend...yes) but the stretch from 60s to 70s (as average life expectancy is around 70s) in a setting where life's obligations almost fullfied ( grandkids, retirement and a not very demanding wife or else she would cheat) is a whole different game than a stretch from 20s to 70s that seriously needs another perspective... a very conservative one....I'm not underestimating the level of worry on individual basis...I'm saying It's just a different type of worry as per average.
