My implant failed at 6 years. I think.

The final frontier. Deciding when, if and how.

Hi JIm: I couldn't find any troubleshooting tips on the site. I am pretty familiar with my equipment, but I am open to suggestions. As I said I can use the pump for 4 pumps and then it remains flat until I hit the deflate button. I can clearly feel the click when I start inflating again, but it goes flat after 4 pumps and I am a semi-rigid penis. However not enough for penetration.

Mine failed after 5 yrs and replicates everything you are going through now. The revision is not nearly as bad as the first implant. I went from Titan to AMS, really like it. When you get the revision and if they are to my to replace it all, ask about your reservoir, most leave them in, I wanted mine removed. My surgeon did just that removed the Titan and placed the AMS.

What do I do if the cylinders are difficult to inflate, or if they
won’t inflate?
Reset the pump by following these steps:
1. Squeeze the deflation button to refill the pump bulb.
2. Reactivate the pump with a HARD, QUICK squeeze of the
pump bulb.
3. Inflate the device normally.
If this doesn’t resolve the problem,
1. Squeeze the sides of the deflation block to refill the pump bulb.
2. Squeeze the deflation button for 2-4 seconds to reset the lock-out
mechanism.
3. Reactivate the pump with a HARD, QUICK squeeze of the
pump bulb.
4. Inflate the device normally.
DO NOT squeeze the deflation button and pump bulb at the
same time.
DO NOT squeeze the ends of the deflation block while squeezing
the pump bulb at the same time.

may make a visit to your surgeon and see if they can diagnose based on examination or if they need to go a CAT scan or something.

Hi All
My lgx quit after 8 years. Same thing happened. Got to 8 pumps and went flat. Followed all the ams trouble shooting techniques and nothing helped. Called ams and spoke to the rep. After explaining she said sounds like a leak. Said i should check with Dr. i immediately made and appointment with Dr Eid. Had my consult and i am going thru steps for revision. Hoping to get my new dick 2.0 next month !
