LGXDownunder, my experience was similar. FWIW, 3-4 weeks after resuming PIV sex the pain is down about 50% and getting better all the time. The angle is different and I continue to adjust to that. I expect it will take a few month for everything to feel like the "new normal". But all things considered I'm very thankful to be on this path !

It was quite painful at times.
I had difficulty getting the angle right, couldn't thrust successfully for very long before falling out.
Felt like I needed more erect length, although it looked adequate visually. Maybe I should try pumping less?
Had to stop before I could orgasm because the pain was getting too much.

That's good to hear Chuck. I admit that I was initially a bit put off yesterday, after naively thinking that the first time out might be a roaring success.
I remember thinking as I was vainly trying to get an angle that worked, I hope this is not how sex is going to be from now on.
I'm getting used to the fact that things are going to keep changing. Mostly it has been really good progress so far and I'm happy overall.
I only have to look at my large flaccid dong hanging down to get a smile (well, larger than I've ever been at least!) :).

I'm following your progress with interest, and it's giving me some inkling of what lies ahead. I'm also down under and in day 6 post op.

I haven't had pain or great discomfort - in fact I propositioned my wife at day 3. She looked at me as if I was mad and said "That thing has EYES! You're not putting that in me!"

I have to admit, it does look like a scary snake

Like you, I was a bit disappointed with length initially (5"), but there's so much swelling in the pubic area that I'll gain another 1/2" by the end of the week, which still leaves me another 1/2" to make up with inflating to full pressure, cycling and exercise.

I was walking a couple of kilometres into town at day 2 without problem and I've yesterday cut in half the dose of Panadol Osteo from 2x665 mg to 1x 665 mg without ill effect.

Feeling good about the whole experience and taking heart from your posts. Keep 'em coming.
RALP with 75% nerve sparing 10/24.
Some tumescence from 5 weeks post op. Erection improved with pills, stalling @ 60%
Keen to get frisky with young wife again. Implanted Rigicon 10X 20 cm + 1 cm RTE mid April 25.

Glad you are having a good recovery Doggedly :!:
I didn't even think about sticking it in my wife until week 8 and that was painful.
Did you have the infrapubic install, where they go in above your penis instead of going in on the scrotum?
That's fantastic that you are able to walk a good bit and not have any pain. Keep healing up quickly and before you know it, your wifey will want your Bionic Dick inside her.

Haha, I'm sure she really does want it in her now, but just not looking like a bug-eyed snake.

We walk every day with the dog in the beautiful autumn tree-lined streets without any discomfort.

However, I do have to put both fists in jeans pockets when passing impressionable young girls, but otherwise I'm not ashamed of the trouser bulge.
I reckon that there's a lot of body shaming of male genitals, but females wear the most revealing tops and tights/leggings, even to the extent of visible camel toe.
By contrast, guys feel that they have to wear those ridiculously long shorts at the beach or pool, which makes swimming awkward.
Whatever the reason - and I'm guessing that it's shyness at making visible one's cold-shrunken junk - that is no longer necessary now that the Bionic Brotherhood has Proud Private Parts.

Wear your bulging budgie smugglers with pride, brothers! 8-)

You are doing really well that early on, and things will get even better post 24/7 erection. Sex was the last thing on my mind a week post op, despite it being the main objective of the surgery! Everything looked a fright down there for some time, but I had expected that. Since I've started cycling my dick is now looking really good. It looks pretty much normal flaccid, and much longer than I have ever been. I would not be embarrassed in a locker room situation 8-). Erect size is good, and improving, but still some way to go. There is not a lot of visual difference between flaccid and erect. It's between 1 and 1.5 inches difference if I measure it. I think the apparent erect size is partly influenced by residual pubic swelling and my (new) large ball sac. I don't know if that's caused by residual scrotal swelling, or it's the new normal from the third brother now living in there. He takes up a lot of space but I'm learning to like him! Girth seems to be about the same as I've always had naturally, but I hadn't measured it pre RRP so can't be sure. I'm expecting many months of tiny incremental gains to fully reclaim previous surgical and ED losses. I am getting more aggressive now with cycling and able to tolerate more pressure/pumps, and length of time. I cycled three times today, and in the longest session I was able to hold for 35 minutes, angrily erect, before it got too much. So hard I could crack walnuts with it. Other sessions were about 10 minutes each. I can now get up to about 60 pumps in, but a lot of those are partial ones as the bulb becomes hard to squeeze. The pump seems to recover after a rest, or when I do the Perito thing. Pain and soreness post deflation also continues to improve; I rarely need any pain relief at all now. I'm still expecting some bumps in the road, and sex remains a work in progress, but I am largely unaware of my dick unless the new bulge creates positioning issues in my underwear when I go out. A problem I'm happy to own! :D
