Hi guys..
2 months ago I bought trimix.
A tech at the pharmacy (not a pharmacist) told me their trimix lasts a month refrigerated from the time the bottle is opened before it gets expired. Since I had the trimix for 2 months and never used it, I injected.
So 5 minutes after injecting, I massaged the injection site. Then I felt a sharp pain that lasted a while. After 25 minutes, I had an erection lasting only 5 minutes.
I never had this problem before with this pharmacy or with this med. I don't know what happened.
1. Do you think the trimix is no good even if I had it for 2 months since the tech said it lasts a month after it's been opened?
2. Should I have bought a new one instead?

I'm just guessing here. It sounds like a partial miss. The failure to get most of the meds into the correct tissue resulted in the short duration erection. Injecting most of the meds into the wrong tissue was responsible for the pain. Work on your injection technique. If you're going to keep your meds that long then freeze them.

But what about the erection I got half an hour after inecting (although lasting for 5 minutes)? Don't you think if the med went into the wrong tissue that I wouldn't have had an erection at all?

But the pharmacy told me never to freeze them, only refrigerate them. What do you think about that?
Re: Emergency.. Injected trimix
I highly recommend you get a new vial. Then pre-fill some syringes and keep them in a ziploc bag in the freezer (any leftover in the vial should also be in the freezer)
ON days you inject take out a prefilled syringe and put it in the fridge it can be there a few days but don't let it stay in there for much longer. Keep it in the freezer if you're not going to use it.

I suggested that most of the drugs went into the wrong tissues. A little went to the correct spot.

I will never suggest you do something contrary to professional medical advice.

I think you missed the cavernosa. Read my recent post in another thread about using a VED to pump up when shooting, it swells up the cavernosa and makes a miss almost impossible.
If properly refrigerated, Trimix should last at *least* six months.

I'm my case my trimix I got in February was refrigerated properly and upon using it 2 days ago wasn't effective.

Last shot I took was last Sunday and that Trimix was purchased in March 2024. I keep it frozen and freeze multiple injections.
I also use a VED to pump up and I never miss.

I wouldn't recommend freezing, but only because I haven't done it or done any research on doing that. It might be perfectly fine, I just don't know. Glad it seems to work for you though, that would really make the shelf life unlimited.

Yeah, I'd guess you missed the corpora, it happens. I'd try again in a day or two with the same vial.
