Twisted Pump

Postby Dprimal » Thu Apr 17, 2025 10:21 pm

This is my first post on FrankTalk.
I was implanted on 3/25/25 and started cycling 7 days later. I was cycling aggressively but still had issues finding the deflate bars on the Titan Classic Pump. Dr Hakky sent me a video of the implant immediately after surgery and the deflate bars were front to back in my scrotum with the base of the pump facing down. I continuously had issues deflating and got stuck for HOURS at times before I had to swallow my pride and go to Hakky’s office for help. He was examining me and said that my pump had rotated or twisted.
He said that instead of the base of the pump facing south and the bars facing east & west, the pump’s base is at a 45 degree angle in my scrotum with the base facing forward. Now, deflate bars are at a 45 degree angle facing my asshole. In order to deflate, I’ve got to go deep into my scrotum right at my taint to hit the bars. Has anyone else had these issues? Any advice? It seemed like I was expected to deal with it and figure it out.

Sounds like something that will become a non-event in time.

You have the smallest pump, Coloplast classic, twisted only 45 degrees, that is well concealed.
I've got the largest pump, AMS MS, twisted 90 degrees, that shows through my pants.
But in reality, no one notices but me. And over time it's become nothing.

Maybe pull down on the pump a few times a day? Once the swelling fully subsides and you're able to get a good grasp on the pump, you'll probably forget it ever was a concern.

Did he tell you to pull on your pump to not let it adhere to your scrotum, gently tug on it in a hot shower getting everything loose and viable.

I have the same pump and at times early on it was difficult to find the right position. After 6-8 months until now at 3 years it just floated around where it falls. Whe. I’m cold it’s up even with its brothers. When I’m hot and my scrotum is all stretched out it hangs all the way to the bottom. Between things settling down and you getting used to it, it will all work out as you get more familiar with how to handle it. Time will work things out.

I have the Tenacio pump, pretty large and long. I had Dr Hakky as well. After surgery yes he sends you a congratulations video of sorts and discusses how and where the pump is sitting. That all goes out the door as it will float around and find its own spot so to speak. Mine was behind my balls with the deflate button facing forward. It's still behind the boys hangs a little lower, and has twisted as well to where the button is now pointed to the left. Once all the swelling has gone down it's not really an issue as you can turn and twist the pump while using it. When you have swelling down there it is very much difficult to get it in the right position to find the deflate button or move it into a better position for pumping. It gets much better over time.
