What’s the step
Hey guys I’m planning to get my implant very soon since I’ve had Ed for 5 years now venous leak I’m 23 in a month but I have no clue what to do all over to get my surgery asap how should I find the best doctor in Australia? I’m sure insurance will cover it but is there anything else I can do now to prepare myself ?
Re: What’s the step
Use a VED to maintain or regain size until you it.
I think a countryman can recommend a surgeon.

Sorry to hear that you're having to cope with ED at such a young age. There are more conservative treatments than an implant. I'm assuming that you've already tried all of those? If you are definitely committed to getting an implant then I know that Dr Christopher Love in Melbourne is probably one of the highest volume surgeons in Australia, and has a good reputation. His colleague Assoc. Prof. Darren Katz also looks pretty good. I researched both of them on paper but didn't go with either because I didn't want the hassle of flying to Melbourne several times. I also wanted someone close by in case of any post op problems.
Check with your insurer and get an informed financial consent from your surgeon before going ahead. Both Medicare and most private health funds will only cover a trivial amount of the overall cost. Implants are classified as a "cosmetic" procedure by Medicare and private health insurers

Due to profound ED for 3 years from having a prostatectomy I used a VED for both sex and rehab for about 18 months before getting my implant.
I used it aggressively twice a day for 20 minutes for several months before my procedure, to help restore as much length as possible and allow the largest sized cylinders for my anatomy to be implanted. My surgeon agreed with that approach.
Hope that helps get you started, but please come back with any further questions and let us know how you go.
