Effect of implant on congenital curve: lenghtening or shortening? Tricky question...

I am planning to get an implant in the next few months, and have a congenital curve of 35 degrees upwards. It is said the implant will straighten the penis (="even out" the curve), and that the Coloplast Titan is the best solution because of the very firm cylinders compared to AMS.

So far, so good, understood!

But my question is: Does the implant in the end lengthen the shorter side of the curve (by extending it), or does the outer part of the curve shorten by simply not extending the tunica further when the implant is inflated?

One would result in a kind of lengthening, the other would certainly mean a shortening.

Or do the two balance each other out?

Does anyone here have any experience or can enlighten me? Many thanks!

I'm 43 and was had a procedure done to straighten mine when I was 18. Mine curved downwards, I believe the surgeon used the plication method. I too am curious as I am wanting to find out what's possible with an implant

Mine had a 20 degree left bend at midship. Did not change in length at all. My dr used the AMS 700 lgx but had me over 80% hard for 4 weeks after install. Pain,pain,pain! straight as an arrow now. Can make it hard as a railroad spike but pain begins in about 10 minutes. Use it at about 75% hard. My lady enjoys 75%.
