I've read that just once a day for 10 minutes will get results.
I've read that vacuuming for only 1 minute, 3 intervals, does it.
I'm sure there's dozens of variations.
What's been your experience? What's the sweet spot? Drs recommendations?
Any damage reported from use or overuse? Anything more than a bruise?

Re: Vacumm Device VED use intervals? Pre and Post Op.
I'm really not an expert, but I have read a fair amount of the research and developed some personal thoughts, though I admit some of my ideas have zero scientific backing.
I asked ChatGPT to break down common VED use in studies. It reports that pre-op VED use is often 10 to 15 minutes, once or twice daily, usually starting 1 to 3 months before surgery. Some studies have used 5 minutes twice a day with good results.
Post-op studies are less common in the literature, but more than one study supports 10–15 minutes twice daily.
From here, I’ll admit it’s just my untrained opinion but also my intuitive one that medical practices tend to err on the side of extreme caution - often out of a strong fear of even minor complications, no matter how unlikely. That’s why many urologists only advised patients to cycle for 15 minutes once per day without even mentioning VED use. The result? A functional implant, yes, but one on a smaller dick. At least there were little to none malpractice claims that resulted from their recommend protocols.
Since I’ve found no evidence of harm from more frequent VED use, it seems reasonable to assume that roughly ~30 minutes once or twice a day is safe and likely more effective. When it comes to something as important as a man’s penis and its size in the future of our sexual relationshis, putting in a little extra effort is worth it. Using a VED for 15 minutes twice a day probably works. And I'm not even saying 30 minutes twice every day is essential. But I think it's a reasonable approach that using one for a bit longer here and there might not do you any good compared to 15 minutes, but it won't do you any bad either and maybe it leads to guaranteed results that are the best possible outcomes.

Re: Vacumm Device VED use intervals? Pre and Post Op.
I posted this in another thread, but it seems worth asking here also.
If an implant doesn't increase in length (or barely increases in length), and the VED makes the penis longer, how does that not result in an undersized implant ?

Are you making good progress done the replacement? Are you cycling and using the VED again?

Yep, everything is going well and I'm liking the Titan. I don't think I have anything interesting to report since I'm a lot more casual about it this time. Like first time implanted it's 2 months after and just then I learn about size increases being possible and first learned VEDs exist. And being the excessive addict I am I went full blazin' saddles with exercising that thing for hours a day. It fortunately never caused any problems but 2 years after it did feel like I probably decreased the rigidity a bit. Or that's just how AMS's are, not positive.
Either way my point is that now I'm still VED'ing and Perito'ing and I did get another Bathmate but I'm not measuring daily and caring like before. I might miss some days from exercising if I've got stuff to do. Size is coming back and I'm confident I'll reach my goals without the need to blunt force it. Plus the tunica expansion procedure (TEP) will be happening this summer or fall so it feels unnecessary to be caring so much right now.

What's a Tunica Expansion Procedure? And do you think it's possible, potentially, to damage/rupture the implant using the VED while fully inflated?

What's a Tunica Expansion Procedure? And do you think it's possible, potentially, to damage/rupture the implant using the VED while fully inflated?
Tunica expansion procedure is what the name implies - it's a surgery done only on men with implants that should expand your tunica and thus expand your girth. Length increases are possible but not the objective.
I don't want to say much about it myself because I don't really know - I've seen other discussions about them here on FrankTalk with information I didn't expect about recovery and results.
But I do want to copy ChatGBTs description of them.
I asked: Describe the tunica expansion procedure and the expected results.
The Tunica Expansion Procedure (TEP) is a surgical method designed to permanently increase penile girth, especially for men with a penile implant who want more size than the implant alone provides.
---
What is TEP?
TEP is performed by experienced penile surgeons and is primarily done in conjunction with, or after, a penile implant surgery—especially when girth goals haven’t been met with the implant alone.
Key steps:
1. The surgeon surgically opens the tunica albuginea (the thick fibrous layer that surrounds the corpora cavernosa).
2. Small incisions or mesh grafts may be used to allow the tunica to expand more fully when the implant is inflated.
3. The existing implant (e.g., Titan or AMS 700) is preserved and supported, sometimes upsized.
4. The penis is left partially inflated post-op to support healing with the new expanded diameter.
---
Expected Results
Girth Increase:
Typical gain: 0.5" to 1.0" in circumference, sometimes more.
The result is permanent as long as the implant remains functional.
Gains appear natural and symmetrical if done properly.
Flaccid Appearance:
Flaccid girth also improves since the tunica no longer restricts expansion.
The penis appears fuller at all times due to implant volume + tunical space.
Erectile Function:
No natural erections post-implant, but implant functionality is preserved or enhanced.
Length:
TEP does not target length, but small increases in apparent or stretched length may occur due to reduced constriction.
---
Ideal Candidates
Men who:
Already have an implant but want more girth
Have adequate penile skin and elasticity
Do not have extreme fibrosis or prior major complications
Best results seen with Titan implants due to their rigidity and girth focus
---
Risks and Downsides
As with any surgery: infection, bleeding, scarring, or implant complications
Overexpansion can lead to aesthetic issues if poorly done
Needs a highly skilled surgeon—not commonly offered due to its technical difficulty
Several authoritative sources here that confirm the results are permanent. So that's pretty cool, because things like fillers that require a procedure every year or so do not appeal to me, nor does it having any connection to penis enlargement (PE) shit is great since this is not temporary and is supported by medical research that's findable on google. I attached the full-text of a 2022 study, "Scrotal approach for tunica expansion procedure (TEP) for penile girth and length restoration during penile prosthesis implantation in patients with penile angulation due to Peyronie’s disease and erectile dysfunction: technique and outcomes" by Shirin Razdan, Ariel Zisman and Robert Valenzuela. It's worth a skim if you're interested in the science behind it.
One fact about them that might be obvious is to get a TEP you'll probably need to fly to the coasts for a specialists urologist and insurance will not cover it. So it's not cheap. But I can afford it, plus my AMS made me lose girth and when I learned about these I knew I'd want to pursue it.

In the ballpark, how much we talking ($$$$$)?
Also, about VED use: do you think it's possible, potentially, to damage/rupture the implant using the VED while fully inflated?

Re: Vacumm Device VED use intervals? Pre and Post Op.
Be careful with VED. Years ago Dr Lue told me it can cause PD. Also; be careful about the time,
It has been suggested that increased pressure also raises the Temp which could cause issues.
Did I mention to be careful with VED.

What's PD? Peyronie's? I don't think that can be caused post-implant. Or am I wrong?
