Everyone's different. I haven't been able to figure out how to masterfully excuse myself to the bathroom after a make-out session to inflate. It just seems awkward and, for me, kills the mood. Agreed, there's no "one size fits all" solution to any of these problems. I'm sorry to hear about your pump, it really sounds like you got a factory lemon there and I'm sure that helps sour you on it.

Interesting, that's the first time I ever heard "lack of spontaneity" with regard to inflatables. I mean, to me it seems it takes longer for even a healthy natural penis to get erect than the time it takes to pump up an implant, and you can even do it while engaging in other sexual activities (or have your partner do it).

But to each his own, if you just don't want anything to impede the "flow" of a sexual encounter, then the malleable is there for you. Good luck I hope it works out for you. Hakky's a great guy, and from all accounts a great surgeon -- hopefully, since he'll be doing my surgery in October.

fuckedone, why not pre-inflate if you are with someone? not to 100%, but to a certain point where you can have something usable but still hide it in your pants and you are ready to go when you start foreplay.

Do you need both hands because the pump is too hard?

I just don't want to have to think about it; I want something that's already ready to go. I hate having to pump, for daily cycling and for use. I don't want to have to live in fear of the inevitable break, a fear that's compounded by the bugginess of my pump. I just don't want to have to think about my dick anymore. That's it.
