I'm surprised that I can walk really fast so soon at 6 hours post-op, but I suspect that I won't be so intrepid once the long term pain killers wear off.

Everyone is different - I was on the other side - tons of pain and narcotics galore for several days along with bed rest for three days straight.

Glad your surgery went so well! Do you know the size they gave you? Always curious.

I too didn't get tired of having 'wood' all the time. For me I was a extreme grower - and now - I'm a shower - so I enjoy being able to have a package "at rest."

Yes, it's all going well so far. Pain hasn't arrived yet, fingers crossed.

A little while ago, 3 pretty nurses came in and started examining my erection to check that there was good blood flow to the glans.

Well, the op went well. When I recovered there was no pain or discomfort.
My beautiful wife joined me in the ward and we both admired my interim erection, which is encased in a 'modesty sleeve ' (compression bandage). We chatted and laughed, which made me want to bang her right then and there (dream on....).
Tucked into a big dinner, then walked her to the hospital main entrance.
Feeling really good walking around with a bowsprit, but had to strap it to my belly so as not to frighten children and small dogs.

I'm on the gurney getting pumped full of antibiotics, before being wheeled into the op theatre. Mixed emotions, but just hoping all goes well.

Best to ya out there. Have lots of patience, do your cycling etc. Lots of ice and pain meds for now and before you know it you'll be well on your way. Healing takes time.

Sorry to hear of your painful experience. Such a variation in people's reactions.

When the surgeon popped in to see me after the op, I asked him what size implant he used. He replied that he wasn't certain, but thought that it was a 21 cm + 1 cm RTE length. He told me that he'd bring the notes on his morning visit. I wasn't the only implant recipient this morning, so it's understandable.
