Caverject /Viridal - Current Availability

What is the current availability of Caverject in the UK (NHS prescription)?
Is is any better for Viridal?

Is generic Alprostadil available yet in the UK?

Update following consultation today with my NHS urologist.

Caverject (Pfizer Limited) is no longer being manufactured.
Some stock remains in UK wholesalers

Viridal (ADVANZ Pharma) is still available although supply is sporadic.

Generic Alprostadil is supposed to be launched soon, but no date given

Invicorp is now the default injection for the NHS

I asked at my local pharmacy yesterday and they told me, still not available

Surely they can order it in and it will arrive within a matter of days?

Good to know Invicorp is the new standard shot with NHS. It's meant to be better than Caverject.

I had a conversation with my local Boots pharmacist and she checked on her system for 20mcg options.

Pfizer have stopped making Caverject as a brand.
They do make a ‘generic’ Alprostadil - powder and solvent supplied separately (no cartridge version).
Currently available, but she said that the prescription must be for “Alprostadil Injection and Solution” - no mention of Caverject.

ADVANZ Pharma still manufacture Viridal Duo (the cartridge pack).
In short supply at the moment, but expected to be more available towards the end of May.

I have changed my prescription to Alprostadil made by Pfizer and is exactly the same as caverject inside the packs they are identical see picture on my post about caverject I have been able to get this with no trouble
