Textbook!! :)

Your experience is the gold-standard for recovery. It was facilitated by your determination to keep a positive mental attitude throughout. These postop weeks are a blip in time relative to the rest of your life. I continue to wish you all the best. Please keep us informed as you progress.

Remember, “live launch day” will be great because you’ll think to yourself “it really does work!”. But that first day will be different from days down the road as you continue to adapt and heal fully. Enjoy!

At 4 weeks and 6 days I was given the go ahead to ..you know...do the thing. 8-)
(primarily because I had an extra shaft incision that the Dr. wanted to make sure was completely closed up and could take the friction of intercourse without being affected)

Hard to believe I started down this path about 4 months ago after stumbling on some YouTube videos. I VED pumped twice a day for the 3 months before I had time on my calendar for surgery and recovery, made the trip to Houston and back, kept that sucker pointed up for nearly 5 weeks and I'm back in business.

I felt every day pass waiting and recovering, but looking back it feels like the blink of an eye. I had very little pain after surgery, no pain while recovering and nothing more than a tinge of uncomfortable when cycling for over an hour twice a day.

Now I just hope and pray it lasts for 10 years or more, then I can have the government pay for my revision. :)

Thanks to all of you contributors to FrankTalk, you've been invaluable before, during and after.

Hi Jage! was reading your old journal. I see on your signature you got a 7 3/4 length now. How long did it take you to get to that size? or were you already at that size from day 1 post op?

I certainly wasn't at that length immediately post op. I would say that I hit that at about 12 months post-op. Strangely, and I think I posted about it on FT when it happened, one morning I woke up to nearly 3/4" more in length from the day before. I keep a ruler in my nightstand and would check my bone pressed length every couple of days, and one morning I woke up and it even felt longer when I cycled. Sure enough, it was 3/4'" longer that day than the day before. Weird.

I'd say I leveled off at about a year. Now I check a couple if times a month just to make sure I'm keeping things stretched out, and so far it's been stable at 7 3/4".

Wow that's a crazy story. Growing 3/4“ over night does sound really crazy. I wonder what could have caused that so fast? And that happened about a year after surgery?

Do you sleep inflated or something happened that night / day that might have triggered that growth?

I think that jump in length happened around 6-9 months if I recall. At that point I wasn't sleeping fully inflated, but I did enjoy a few extra pumps overnight just to have that erection feeling again. Not sure my wife enjoyed me semi-erect all night as much as I did

The strangest part of that whole thing was that it was noticeable, I remember reaching for the ruler because it looked and felt noticeably longer one morning. No idea how that could have happened.

Did you use the same ruler to measure every time? And did you measure in the same position? I can't imagine how those things can happen overnight.

I also remember another member of the forum saying he got thicker overnight in terms of girth.

yep, same ruler and same position, basic scientific method ;) .

I bought a ruler from Amazon and ground off the 1/8" or so on the end before the markings started and rounded the corners so it wouldn't scratch me when I bone pressed. Same ruler, same end of the ruler, same position.

Wow, you even took the effort to remove the extra portion in the end of the ruler.
I had a few different rulers and they all have slightly different endings wich makes it difficult to have an exactly equal bone pressed position.

For example i have some pictures taken a couple years ago with a ruler bone pressed and i don't have that ruler anymore. I have a picture of the ruler itself showing it has approx 0.5cm extra in the end. So i always take that into account when i measure with new rulers (i tend to lose them). However, there is always a slight difference using a different ruler
