Perito's Concierge Fee
Re: Perito's Concierge Fee
wow that's awfully a lot of money extra but I guess you may get slightly more attention for that cost. I don't know if the surgeon is guaranteed to have any better outcome that any other high volume surgeon. As others mentioned, I saw some videos on youtube from dr perito and he seemed very aggressive in the use of instruments and boasting about the speed of surgery. Crazy for someone that is paying $5000 on top of whatever insurance is covering.
65 with ED for >10 years. Failed pills, not happy with injections. Implanted 6/24/24 (AMS CX 21 cm) with Dr Darshan Patel at UCSD.

Since I live an hour from Miami I didn't need the extra services. What I did get was Perito's cell and he always replied back to me. I had several issues pain wise that he attended to via phone and 2 extra visits to his office. 2 years in and all is great. He's a great dr and a great guy. I did have 2 consults with two different dr's who only did a few implants here and there and due to issues I had penis wise they both suggested Perito who happened to be my 3rd consult anyway.

Perito is a great guy, I had an appt in his office and felt like I was talking with a friend and got great service from him and his resident he had in the appt with me. Definitely makes you feel like a VIP hanging out in his Miami lounge-like office with bar and sun deck, as compared with Dr Eid's tiny dark NYC dungeon office lol
NYC is old construction and high rents. While I wasn't a particular fan of his handling of my consult, it's not so bad as New York offices go (really!).
Could you elaborate, or refer me to your post where you did elaborate? (Looked quickly and couldn't find...)
Thanks!
47; Considering an implant. ED for over a decade. Tested a decade ago for VL, negative. Not hormonal; may be dopamine reward dysfunction.
Re: Perito's Concierge Fee
My understanding is the Concierge Service is optional and provides nurses that check in on you at your hotel post-op, ground transport to/from your hotel, and some more personalized care.
Since it's optional, there is a demand for this from well-heeled clients, and it allows the practice to have an additional revenue stream, I don't have any issue with this. If you don't like it, don't buy it. The only reason to be mad about this is envy of those who choose to pay for it.

I live about an hour away from Perito so I didn't need anything extra. I will tell you that he gave me his personal number and since I had a very rough recovery he was always there for me. Always answered my texts and always returned my calls in a prompt fashion and I had to see him two times early on because I wasn't doing well. Bottom line is that he was there for me. Great Dr and a great guy.
Re: Perito's Concierge Fee
If it were me I'd try to have someone be with me and stay in a hotel for two days or so. If the 5 grand isn't an issue then I'd say do it.
Re: Perito's Concierge Fee
Do you need this if your 2 hrs away?
What does Perito charges now for an implant?
