Tri-Mix2 Experience
Tri-Mix2 Experience
My robotic surgery was April 13, 2009. I started thinking about an erection by mid May. For my 3 month Drs visit where I explained I had nothing going he prescribed Trimix 2 at 0.4 ml. The first, second and third time I injected myself, the erection lasted for more than 4 hours and they were all very painful. When I got courage to explain the problem to the Drs nurse for advise, I was told to reduce the amount of the injection to 0.1 ml and only use it in the morning ona weekday. That was so i could go back to his office if the erection lasted more than 3 hours and not have to go to the emergency room. Very funny me trying to convince my wife to have sex on a weekday morning before work... Anyway even the 0.1 ml lasted 3.5 hours and I gave the remaining prescrption to the Dr today since I cannot tolerate the painfull erections. He has prescribed a new weaker version containing just papaverine and I am to inject 0.1 ml. He indicated it should last 45 min. I hope I have no further problems with this drug?

Hi Bonefish,
I just had my first injection recently. I was started at was is considered the minimum dose of 0.1 ml. Did work, but did not give me anything useful. Next try is a higher dose. I'm surprised you were started at 0.4 as a first dose...but then...I'm new to this. Good luck with stuff without the Alprostadil.

Age 54.
Open RRP in May of 2009. Gleason at biopsy, 3+3. Gleason after surgery, 3+4 with extra-prostatic extension. Stage III cancer. No incontinence issues. ED issues. Trimix for 5 months. Now, levitra alone is working at 10 mG.

I started with .2 at the Dr. office and had a fairly good result. I have now advanced to .35 and do achieve an erection, however, when I lay down i begin to lose it quickly. As long as I am standing it seems ok. I am considering an implant, I am tired of being used as a pin cushion.

I have been on Bi-mix for about 2 months. Finally got the dosage right and have an erection (like I was 18 again) for about 1 1/2 hours. Don't give up, it can make a new man out of you.

Hi You all !
I've been taking a Bimix injectable for about 3 months. It is Prostaglandin -E, phentalomine and Lidocaine. I started at 0.30 in the Docs office for the teaching epsiode, and was instructed to increase the dosage at home to 0.50, as the erection was fine, just not going to be functional. When I got home to try it, 0.50 turned out to way too much, creating such a feeling of pain, ache, etc, that affected the penis, scrotum, and perianal region, that is was unbearable. So, I backed off to 0.40 unit, and got pretty good erectile results, but still too much pain and ache that occurred again, about 20 mins. after injecting. When I take 0.35, it seems to be just right. But.....
Most recently on 3 occasions, I have injected 0.40 U, two after alcohol ingestion, and one without alcohol ingestion, and had complete failures. It is almost like the damned medication is worn out, however the pull date on the bottle, which has been refrigerated from day one, is Jan 24, 2010. I'm pretty sure that I am dead on with injection sites, so it is bewildering to say the least.
So, we are frustrated and trying to make heads and tails of what is going on. When the Bimix works, it works really well, and we are both (wife and I) truly happy to be "back in the saddle" again.
I have a new shipment of the Bimix, due to arrive today, so I will use the same dosage of the new vial, and that might give me my answer.

Re: Tri-Mix2 Experience
I have also experienced 2 injections with no luck. Both times I think i missed the spot. I am considering using an auto injection device to make the initial needle puncture easier. But all the other times ,both me and my wife loved the results.
Re: Tri-Mix2 Experience
Guys,
Trying pumping before injecting - any pump will do. In fact, if you use an adjustable cock ring, it will hold the medicine in the penis a bit longer - really improving the results. Also with a plumper penis, it is easier to hit the cavernosa - As it was explained to me, it is sometimes like trying to hit two of those long skinny deflated balloons. The target is not very big and can be tricky. If the balloons are semi-full of air, they are a lot easier to hit. Once the drug takes effect, you can keep the cock ring on, your lose it - it does not matter.
just a thought

Re: Tri-Mix2 Experience
I had a strange experience last night and just wanted to see if anybody else has had it. I did my bi-mix shot and had a great evening with my wife. After a couple of hours the erection subsided. This has been the norm for a while. However after about 3 hours and waking me up I had another erection. This one lasted for a good hour and then subsided. After another hour or so I had a slight erection for a few minutes. Since surgery and using the injections I have not experienced this but am wondering if the naturally occurring nocturnal erections could be coming back.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

Re: Tri-Mix2 Experience
I would say it's a really good sign. I'm sure it means your nocturnal erections are returning. I think the injections merely intensified and magnified what was already going on. Most men respond to stimulation with an injection to get it to 100%. So, it would make sense that the nocturnal erections just added to the leftover and subsiding injection and created a great combination. Sounds like you are well on your way and in a year will not even need meds.
I'd be interested on other guy's thoughts too.
