Penis gets extremely thin during masturbation

Hello everyone-

Quick secondary issue apart from my left cylinder base issue- I’ve attempted masturbation a few times 80% inflated and noticed that my penis gets extremely thin, almost as if all blood just leaves my penis and I only have the implant to masturbate with.

Anyone else have this problem? If so, does it get better over time of healing? or should I expect this to be the new product?

I had that problem too for the first 4 or five months. I started taking cialis once daily again and things improved. I take l-arginine 1,000 mg twice daily along with 30mg pycnogenol (you can buy at a health food store or walgreens, etc). The trick is not to inflate it past a certain point if you just wanna have sex or masterbate. If i inflate to max it gets hard and thin to where it's basically just the cylinders. Once i deflate a bit, the blood engorges the shaft again and i'm good to go. I'm still cycling to max daily so i inflate 50%, masterbate a while so the blood flow loosens things up, then i SLOWLY inflate to max. After about 15 min i deflate again to 50% and masterbate for a while to engorge things again. I think with time it won't do that anymore. Also, cycle when you're standing up. For me, it's hard to get bloodflow when i'm lying down

It sounded from the original post like a spongiosum issue. With Pamen116's response, I am even more confident it is.

The implant makes the penis stiff and in the bast case scenario (which the Coloplast units are designed to do) fills out the tunica albuginea as effectively as the corpus cavernosum (when it functioned properly) did.

But the fullness of the shaft outside the tunica (and, incidentally, the glans as well) is provided by the corpus spongiosum. The spongiosum tissue receives no direct help at all from inflating the implant.

While the erection by implant does not depend at all on your mental/emotional arousal, but only on the pressure of the saline solution in the implant, the spongiosum does depend on your state of arousal AS WELL AS your body's ability to supply it with inflationary blood flow. Pamen116's experience suggests that full inflation of the implant may restrict blood flow to the spongiosum. That hypothesis could be tested by following the process he described.

I'VE also noticed that I get better engorgement at around 50% and it feels like a more natural erection. Not sure if I could penetrate at this level. Pumping up to 100%. leaves me with an artificial feel and a cold glans. Sexual stimulation plays a strong role in glans engorgement. non- sexual exercising the implant leaves me with a skinny erection. using a stretchy cock ring helps with girth but becomes uncomfortable after awhile. standing or sitting on the edge of a chair gives me a far better cock engorgement than lying on my back. Must be gravity.

When I just pump all the way to max erection as quickly as I can, I experience some of what you are saying. My wife and I (for sex) or just me for masturbation, figured out we could overcome it by giving a few pumps, then stimulating my penis, and repeating that process until I get a hard erection that is more full bodied.

My wife loves doing it this way because she knows she is making me full, not just the implant device. We also found our preference is to only pump to about 75-80% for sex and everything feels more natural and is more comfortable for both of us.
