@DaveKell,
My doctor apparently had issues with fibrosis in the corpora due to Peyronies and it appears that he short-sized me really badly. He said after surgery that he ran into "issues". I went into surgery on 10/28/19 with about 5" after VED, and came out after 51 days with 5.25" so that's not bad, but that is with a 5.9" implant (15 cm without RTE). That means there is no more than 1" of the rear tips in my body. The corporotomies were right at the base of my penis and the tubes are very palpable on the sides at the base. They curve down from each side, then join the reservoir tube coming down the left side, apparently are tied together over my urethra with non-absorbable suture and then down to my pump.
The doctor who did my surgery was not a high-volume implant surgeon. He is rated 71% for IPP on HealthGrades.com but I'm sure he only does 2-3 per month if that because he has a regular urology practice for both male/female patients. I know your doctor, Dr. Allen Morey rates 98% for this surgery.
I think I need to consult Dr. Morey on the possibility of revision surgery. What are your thoughts and do you think I need to contact him sooner or later, as I'm at 51 days (not quite 2 months). Incidently, if I sit on my pump, it pushes up into the urethra and the tubes start to itch my urethra. That can't be good.
