Implant scheduled

Postby Popa1965 » Mon Oct 28, 2019 10:01 pm

I am three weeks out for my implant I’m not sure which one my Doctor said. My concern is what I need to be doing before implant surgery.

Your doctor should give you precise instructions to meet before surgery.

Probably they will be shave the zone, not drink nor eat 8 to 12 hours before surgery, and ... be calmed.
Implanted September 12nd 2019. Coloplast Titan OTR 20 cm + 1 cm RTE. Dr Cruz (Spain). Liver transplanted. Born in 1967. ED since 24 in different degrees. Pills stopped working in March 2019. Injections caused much pain.

Best wishes on your upcoming implant. There are the pre-op details as mentioned above. If your doctor hasn’t given you any directions you can call to see if there is a list you should have. Mine included to stop taking certain types of medications in advance so it was out of my system.

Then there are other non-medical things some guys do. Those concerned about size use vacuum devices to attempt to maintain their penis length. I took photos so I would have a before and after record.
I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

Three weeks is a pretty short time frame for pre-op vacuum therapy to do very much, but there is evidence that post-op healing is more comfortable, insertion of the IPP easier for the surgeon and restoration of recently lost size possible (though 60 days is recommended, the most gains are in the first 30).

Go easy on the degree of vacuum. This CANNOT be rushed and over-pumping can do damage.
