Postby marlow13 » Fri Sep 06, 2019 6:41 am

I’m scared so if you can just send me some positive vibes. Thanks for all the help here and people that I talked to that helped me make an informed decision. See y’all on the other side of this procedure. Thank you.

By the time you see this you will be in the road to recovery. You may have moments when you wonder if you did the right thing, but chances are extremely high you will get a great result and be happy you overcame your fear and had the surgery. Best wishes Bionic Brother.

Implant procedure complete. Saw the doctor this morning. I was so groggy I forgot what he said to me. Today he told me he put in AMS 700 CX 21+2 for a total 23cm. I asked him why didn’t he implant the LGX, and he said I was to long for the LGX and it would have buckled and not given me enough rigidity. So I guess that answers a question about how hard the LGX gets. The nurse took out the catheter this morning, and I got 2 more bulb drains coming out later. My surgeon is top notch. If you live in the mid south and want a MD with over 5000 procedures under his belt, I would recommend Dr. Dean Knoll here in Nashville, TN. Absolutely awesome from the first time I met him. Thanks everyone for the well wishes and prayers. I think it’s gonna be ok in a few weeks.
