Recomendations for a surgeon needed

Postby cooperstone » Sun Aug 11, 2019 7:27 pm

I am looking for a Surgeon that someone can suggest that I might be able to schedule in the next 6 weeks or so. I am 100% self pay and looking for someone that can do intra scrotal Titan. I am shying away from the local guy here in Austin Dr Kansas as he never does intra scrotal and almost never the Titan.

Dr Eid has a wait of about 3 months and is a bit expensive. My time window is about 6 weeks though. I am in Austin Texas could easily do Houston or Dallas. I am looking at Dr Wang for starters in Houston.

If I use an out of state Doc, do I go to a local guy for follow up and if so how well could that work? Any doctors that can schedule without meeting in person if out of state? I know Dr Eid is one are there any others?

I am willing to travel outside Texas if needed. I am concerned like everyone about sizing and want the Titan. Any suggestions would be very helpful for this.

I just had surgery by Dr Kramer last week. I can not speak highly enough of him and his facility. He’s at a new place and took the month of July off so he may have openings sooner.

In the end what will matter is how good the surgeon is. Kramer is one of the best.

Dr. Alan Morey at UT Southwestern in Dallas. He’s the chair of the urology department and a respected expert in urological reconstruction. He’s one of the leading surgeons for AMS implants. I speak at two or three seminars a year with him. I’ve taken phone calls from very grateful men who used him at my suggestion.

I'd check w/ Dr. Kramer. His new practice situation allows him up to 15 procedures per week. In his previous office, he was 6-8 weeks out if I remember correctly.

How much cheaper is Dr. Kramer vs Eid? It’s been mentioned on here that Eid is expensive and from what I’ve seen on FT from some members is that Eid is roughly $30k US or so if paying out of pocket, correct me if I’m wrong please. How much is Kramer then?

Don't choose just any doctor. I did and have several issues. Get one of the famous guys. You are going to forget the price about 2 weeks out. It's going to be the best decision of your life. Go for the gold. Specifically avoid anyone in Louisiana.
