15 days, Amazing how time flies when you are waiting around for the day when someone takes a really sharp instrument to your most favorite body part. Never thought I would look forward to having a knife that close to my dick. I just hope he does not sneeze when he makes that first cut.
Had all my last appointments. EKG and a stress test, blood work this Friday. This time I was tri mixed right at 6 inches. I was not fully hard so maybe I can get another little bit out of it. My BPS is right at 6.25 inches and I make a good 6.5 in the ved tube. On a good day I can get almost 6.75 in the tube, but it really adds a lot of fluid to my foreskin so I have been settling on the 6.5 and will hope for the best. Keeping my fingers crossed when the weeks and months go by and I am cycling I can keep around 6.
Doc reassured me that I will keep my tri mix length and will get my girth back. The dents should disappear over time from cycling the titan. He will implant the pump and tubes with the penoscrotal incision, but will probably use a small abdominal cut for the reservoir. This is due to a prior extensive stomach surgery I had years ago and he wants to make sure it get placed correctly and does not interfere with anything the prior doc did. He is going to insert a drain and keep me overnight in the hospital. Not to much on here about drains being used, but what I have read, says it is fairly common.
The only negative is that I have not heard from the insurance company. My BCBS policy covers the implants for specific reasons. The Doc said venous leaks is normally a non issue, so do not worry and just mentally prepare for the 7th. Me, I never count my chickens before they are hatched. To many damn coyotes around here to eat the damn things. So I will be happy when BCBS approves it.
FYI, Decided to just go with a local Cincinnati urology group due to issues with my wifes health and her inability to travel very far. They are a Coloplast Center of Excellence site, whatever that really means. To be honest I would have liked to have Kramer or Eid do it, but just am not willing to wait a year until my wife would feel comfortable making the trip, or follow ups in case something bad happened to me.
Nervous as hell, but no real options. I have been working out good, walk/jog 4 miles three times a week, lift weights every other day. Will stop my meds 7 days before surgery along with supplements. Dropped weight down to 180 to get that damn fat pad as small as possible. Trying everything I can think of to not give the doc a reason to undersize me. Hoping for at least a 20 cm titan and no extensions or close anyway. Time will tell.
Nothing much left but to watch the clock and tick off the days.

My best under vacuum was a full 3/4" longer than what I could get by blood erection, even in my most sexually powerful days of youth. If I were you I would not set my expectations at greater than 5.75 - 6.25" and be pleasantly surprised at whatever I get. Even if only 5" after surgery, 5" rigid will reach inside her deeper than 7" limber.

Pre-authorization is ALWAYS a good idea. Take notes, names, time and date of ALL communications into a journal.
Good luck

Re: Implant Time is Fast Approaching
You are not kidding. I feel like if I get somewhere in the 5.5 or so, I will be happy, as long as no floppy head syndrome. It took me several years to get to this point. I figure if it takes another year or two of cycling to get maybe somewhere close to where I was, no big deal. Either way, my wife and I can engage in sex when and where we like.
I reminded her of the time we were on the north shore of Oahu sitting on some rocks with the waves crashing around and we just started going at it like crazy. It was midnight, moon was out, all three of them. Something like that is not even possible now, and that was only about 4 years ago. But hopefully, will be in a couple months.

Just my opinion and experience, but if you have a competent surgeon, you should get you old length right away.
I just finally noticed my tips and they are around a cm from the end.
Maybe some docs take short cuts with implants that are supposed to expand axially?
I really don't want the tips to be felt trying to get longer when they don't need to.
Just my opinion obviously after less than a month post-op.

I did. I had confidence that I would also. I had seen enough videos of how the surgeon measures the corpus cavernosum (tunica albuginea) inside dimensions and, most importantly, talked extensively to my surgeon about how aggressively he sizes (chooses the implant size) his patients. I never had a single day of penis length less than what I had immediately before surgery.
I don't know if the pre-op vacuum therapy protocol I followed had anything to do with that. It might have, but anything I might conclude would be speculation. All I know is that it did not hurt.

Re: Implant Time is Fast Approaching
Yeah, I did the pre-op VEDing also.
I didn't get the VED size but that wasn't the object of it all.
I really think guys who have been without erections for awhile need to do this.

Re: Implant Time is Fast Approaching
I agree that VED might help if you know that you have lost length due to ED. It also stretches the skin making it softer and easier to dilate. Blood flow is increased, for me it was a lot. Very glad I used VED before and after surgery. good luck

Re: Implant Time is Fast Approaching
I'm using a ved to retain size as I come up to implant
Interestingly, I missed a week of ved use. First time I've missed more than a day since I started using it.
Using the ved tonight, I found that everything felt tighter, more resistant to expansion. I could really feel things stretch even with very slow pumping.
Reduced elasticity after a week! It was fine after the initial 5 minute cycle, everything loosened up.
Just goes to show though, one week with no erections can lead to some slight degree of shrinkage!

But that shrinkage doesn't have to be permanent. Once again, that "dirty word": time.

Re: Implant Time is Fast Approaching
Talked to the doc again today and went over the size issue one last time. He was positive that i would keep my length that I am on the trimix and sildenafil, which is right at 6. I told him I never get really hard anymore so I would be fine with that. The ved fluctuates between 6.5 and 6.75. I plan on traction and ved right up to a couple days before surgery. I would hate to cause any trauma and want any fluid in my skin to be gone. Might traction the night before.
He said again he tries to minimize rtes unless they are necessary. The coloplast rep will have all sizes on hand. I am the only one scheduled on my surgery date so I wonder if that is good or bad. He basically worked me in on a Thursday. He normally does them all on Tuesday but due to my schedule he accomodated me. Have to say that was above and beyond. I just hope the rep shows up with all sizes and very few rtes.
Will be interesting to see how a 75 or so a year implanter does, along with recuperating. He plans on me activating at 2 weeks.
