Who's had the implant long term and happy???

Postby Islanderboy58 » Fri Jan 19, 2024 4:57 pm

I am scheduled mid April for Implant surgery in Chicago, to say I'm excited/nervous would be an Understatement.
That said reading about so many failures and revisions on FT def makes me concerned for long term reliability.
I know it would be normal to hear more about the negative results guys have had than the totally satisfied guys.
I would love to hear positive comments from the guys that have been implanted long term without major issues.
I def feel for the guys that are or have dealt with failures and totally understand I could possibly be included in that group at some point as well.
Surely there are plenty of positive stories! My surgeon said I could expect ten or more years of reliable use from the Implant.
So how about it....where's all the long time the happy Bionics!
Many years on Viagra until it didnt help,I moved onto Trimix 5 years ago and it now has limited effect.Time to move on to The Implant.

1 year postop. I know not long-term, but i’m praying that im one of those long term 10 year+ success stories.

It’s been an amazing journey this past year. There is something almost magical about penetrating your partner with a hard as steel erection, watching her enjoy it, and thinking “this time, it AINT going away!”.

Was it worth it?

As of now, absolutely!
Active, athletic 63 years old. Sexually, still 33 in my mind and spirit. Pills and injections all worked, until they didn’t. Diagnosed with veinous leakage in 2022. Coloplast Titan. 22 CM. No RTE. Peno-scrotal. Implanted 1/4/23. Dr. Clavell.

No pills, never having to worry about ED again, so worth it. Even if it only lasted a year it would be worth it to me.

Hello Islanderboy58. I am also from Chicago. I have yet to see a urologist but have a yearly physical coming up in February. He is a Northwestern doc so I was going to ask for a referral. Care to share the name of your urologist? Is he/she doing the surgery also? Thanks!
