Re: How long does it take to go from completely flaccid to fully erect with an implant?

It is an adjustment. But if I didn't have my implant there would be no intercourse. My AMS is fully pumped and ready at about 30 pumps. Please PM me anytime I am here for you.

It depends on the size of what you are inflating. Doesn’t take me too long and if you let her or him do it for you then that’s foreplay.

It is a learning curve as the other posters indicated. I'm at 17 days post activation and it takes me about 3-5 minutes as I need to stop, massage, pump again, etc.. It is getting better though, I started at 10+ minutes, but practice makes perfect.

Only a few minutes. I agree with Donnie as i have ams as well. 30 pumps, 40 to be rock hard. As far as spontaneity. Its tons better than the alternative !

I don't see how it would be possible to inflate that fast...probably 3-5 minutes for me if I'm in a hurry, & 30+ pumps seems to be the magic number for rock hard/steel hardness, although 15-20 would suffice...

In my experience it is all a learning curve, having an implant is not the same as having a natural erection, i've said on another post, that it is bit like having anything else that is false eg, teeth, hip, knee. It's a good second, but you have to learn to use it, and work out what is right for you. what I used to do was, if I thought we were going to have sex I would half pump it up before hand, that way it didn't take too much to get it fully erect and you didn't loose the mood by taking time out to pump it up. Alas those of us who are maried know that just because you think you might be going to have sex dosent mean you will, it didn't take too much to just roll over and press the deflate button, and go to sleep. I never ever let my wife pump it up, as I could just imagine her getting hold of one of my nuts and giving that a good squeese. Over all experience off an implant is good but different, and the alternative is nothing at all and a lifetime of feeling like a failure.
