Good luck. I hope whatever pain you have is at least bearable. If not, don't be afraid to ask for some pain medication. Here's hoping things go very well for you.

No pain now...just sensitive. I'm on my second round of antibiotics and steroids. Swelling has gone down a lot. Concerned about inflammation build up around my pump. Hoping it is not scar tissue forming, but it too seems to be a little better today. I go back and see Dr. Hakky on September 20 for another evaluation. He has really helped calm things down with my implant and my mind.

). Anyway, if you have two or three consecutive temperatures above 100, get to the doctor. You do not want to lose your implant to infection like I did. I would take your temp every 2 or 3 hours and write it down. WARNING... I did not feel sick. Just a little run down. Also, drink lots of fluid... water is best, beer is worst.
