Starting to Cycle

I forgot to mention a hint for all who are just starting out cycling, Keep your fingernails trimmed short!

Fingernails against a still sensitive scrotum are not pleasant. A month or too of quite short nails will improve your comfort level.

I forget, that a lot of guys get the pentascrotal surgery. I had the infrapubic method, and sensitivity was never an issue. Actually, I don't think there is any feeling in there, as I can squeeze the heck out of the pump, and never feel anything.

Well, on my second pass this afternoon I decided to make it more fun. Put on some porn and managed 8/9 pumps. And damn if my dick didn't engorge with blood. Started looking like the old me. Working up to the orgasm took my mind off the pain.

Tried to get in another pump, but a little to slick at that point. Feeling a lot better about it now. Doc said what I saw in my video I can do if not more, so I just have to be committed and patient.

Thanks guys. Can't wait till I can pump one handled in a few seconds. My scrotum is going to have to get tougher!

First off dont get discouraged. After 2-3 weeks you will see noticable difference in size. You probably at this point can only do a few pumps. My stitches were right above my pump. Was very tender at first. As time goes on you be able to fit more and more pumps and have less and less pain. It is just like a workout you will see gains over time. Be patient and dont push it but get into a pumping schedule. At the beginning a warm bath helps while pumping. Pump up and hold for a while. I like to push myself and will pump rock hard & hold for 50-60 minutes. I have been pumping for almost 12 weeks and almost back to pre-cancer size. Good luck !

Thanks Bandit. Guys I really appreciate the encouragement. Its funny, thought I had this all figured out, but once I got activated, the reality of it kind of hit. But today's session made me feel better. I knew going in my final result would not be evident at 2.5 weeks.

I'll tell you, jacking off a hard cock without worrying about it going down was pretty awesome.

Yes fellows, the boys don't like the pump on the first time around. For me on the second time they didn't complain much about the new pump but were definitely in morning over the loss of the first one.

Cycling now just a little ahead of the 4 weeks rest time suggested (recommended) by my surgeon. Now up to about 15 pumps on my AMS CX series. Tried everything out too; my CX seems to have a little more diameter already than the old LGX did. Maybe it is just because it has been a while since the wife and I could do things. My CX likes to be left with a little more fluid than the LGX did. Need the fluid to keep from getting a bend in the tubes that is painful. With too little fluid they go flat and then bend more like a fire hose, the sharp crease is irritating.

Just keep working with the cycling, who knows what kind of rewards it will bring.

Why would you go against the recommendation of your doctor? Everybody agrees that this is serious shit but then ignores their doctor... I just don't get it?

Doctor also told me what inflammation and bruising needed to resolve itself before I could do things. The bruising and swelling were well resolved. Therefore, I exercised my judgment and exercised care it what I chose to do. This is a place where the body rules, if things had been that swelling and bruising and other factors were not resolved I would have deferred actions till later. I have a multiple year history with my urologist and we trust each others judgment. I am not scheduled for a checkup on the surgery until into December.

He is also my urological oncologist so he knows most of the territory well, though he didn't do the original prostatectomy.

That makes a lot of sense. Since your dr told you what to look for you were not going against his advice. You just did not have to have a follow up to get the offical nod. Everybody should know their body.

The main point is good communication with your dr and following his orders not advise from anyone here.
