Orgasim Difficulties?

Postby Twanger » Tue Mar 15, 2016 12:49 am

I'm about three months post implant and have not yet been able to reach orgasim. It's been a while, maybe three years since a successful orgasim before my implant. And I probably lost at least an inch or more due to atrophy. Seems to me to be lost sensitivity, maybe in part due to new shorter length but has anybody else been down this trail?

Most of us by my guess. The penis goes through - for lack of a better term - nerve shock after procedures that temporarily deaden the nerve endings. For me it lasted a good four to six months. I had some nerve endings so hypersensitive that it was almost painful and the majority of the penis with no sensation at all. The bad part is if you give up. Be patient and wait for the sensations to equalize themselves and then get at it. I have talked to a lot of men who have anything from TURPs to Radical Prostatectomies who have this phenomena and then give up and never try again. Once the feeling starts coming back, get on it!

Same here, I am 4 1/2 months out from implant date and have been terribly upset over the lack of sensation and difficulty reaching orgasm. I think that it is getting better but still have a long way to go before the sensation is recovered. This Prostate Cancer , Penile Implant stuff is not fun and not for the weak or weary.

Agree with others... my replacement implant (Titan) was done in December... IS GREAT!! but the years of severed nerves have done there toll... while with earlier implant did occasionally have orgasm.. now would say am at 10%... but way to many pluses from implant to say was bad move.... just life!!!

I should mention that I am eight months out of my penile prosthesis and two-and-a-half years out of my radical prostatectomy and I am at 100% orgasmic capability. Sex is like it was in my twenties. Hang in there guys!!

I am a year plus out. (12/16/14) I had the same experience. But it does get better. Just relax and enjoy what you have now. I feel like it is still improving for me.

Hope. Appreciate hearing this might get better. Somehow, all my pre-surgery reading and research here on FT didn't provide anything on Orgasim I should expect and I was taken by surprise. Most everybody seemed to be Happy with their implant and pleased with its' function. Don't recall anyone complaining about lack of sensation or loss of orgasim. My doc didn't warn of the possibility either.

Wondering now if some of you who used a widely reknown doc like Eid or Kramer got any advance caution of what Orgasmic problems they might expect and how long problems might persist?

Thanks fellas for sharing your experiences!! Holding out hope.

Like many of you, I had a Radical Prostactetomy, mine in 2010. As my cancer had come "out of the gland", the surgeon had to remove extra tissue "to the margins" and assured me I'd never have another erection with an implant. For the next 2.5 years my sex life was "eating pussy and getting blow jobs". As time passed my orgasms were more and more difficult to attain.

First implant - Titan - in April 2013. Botched but able to fuck. Took three or four months to have an orgasm. But I did have good orgasms. I had many problems with that "poorly installed implant. A year and a day later, it was replaced by Dr. Paul Perito. All problems solved. And again, it was three or four months before I had orgasms again. But what orgasms!

Many, if not most, of my orgasms are TREMENDOUS! They are the best if the lady is on top of me (Cowgirl). They often last so long that, while I'm still coming, I'm laughing, whimpering, squealing like the "Three Stooges". I believe this is because, having no semen to pump, the little "orgasm pump" in my body just keeps pumping and pumping and pumping. Believe me, this is even more wonderful than it sounds!

So...be patient...the healing process takes time. Those orgasms will "come".... and good luck!

Never had a problem. First sex after maybe three weeks. I was hardly in my lady when I came, what a surprise for both of us.
