Where is everyone?

Postby JDavid » Sat Feb 08, 2014 9:37 am

Huh?
I am sixty-six years of age and dealing with gradually worsening ED for twenty years. At sixty-three I wanted something that worked reliably. I got an AMS 700 LGX implant in 6/25/13. I am entirely pleased with the outcome. My surgeon was Dr. Karpman.

Has slowed down considerably. Would like to see more post pro/con to implants but perhaps so many have not found site and others got what they want and have left site. I keep expecting someone to comment on my chosen surgeon, Dr Allen Morey, from UT-SW Medical in Dallas who I have heard is now doing five a week, but the only one or two who I have seen hear that used him do not answer my PMs. Hope they were pleased, but I would sure like to hear more about him other than numbers. i know I feel short in personal attention, but guess that sometimes comes with volume.

Maybe things will pick up hear. I expect after one has surgery there is lots to catch up on at home, work, and recovery.

I've been here a lot lately, I have surgery on Tuesday (2/11/14) so I've been reading everyday to see if there's any new info I've missed. I'm getting a Titan after a lot of research (well...reading all the posts here). I'm a bit nervous as always before a surgery but this time they're cutting my junk open (I try not to think about it). When I saw my doc for my pre-op he told me my surgery was going to be viewed by other visiting surgeons and I think filmed as well, OH GREAT!! just what I wanted to hear, my greatest nightmare realized...naked in front of everyone.

I'm not sure as to why, but you seem correct as this place seems kind of "ghost town" like compared to just a few months ago. I hope that things pick up. Most likely people have just moved on as their need for this forums information and companionship have diminished with their own personnel healing. It may be up to the next generation , so to speak, to pick up the torch and move forward providing the help to the newbies that they had received from those that had come before them, in that way the knowledge and support continues to be passed on continuing the service that this forum has provided to so many. Be good, peace...

BillyLee,
I have experience with Dr. Morey but I I was planning on waiting and writing a synopsis of my experience, when my journey is little farther down. Have you seen him yet? As with any professional, he has his strengths and weaknesses. I'm not sure how to pm? If you contact me I'll be happy to share my impressions.
