Cycling beyond a year?

Postby SteveSW » Thu May 05, 2022 12:50 pm

Guys, I'm 14 months out and I've been cycling aggressively, about 2 hours a day. In your experience, is there any benefit to continue with the cycling program? I gained length and I'm 3/4" longer now, than I was going into surgery, but that seemed to have all occurred in the first 6-8 months, nothing since. I still enjoy giving myself a raging boner, just because I can, but is there any benefit for me to keep cycling beyond this point? Thanks for any input.
20 years of severe Peyronie's plaque, 90 curve, hinging and ED. Cost me 1.5" L and 1" G.
Implanted 2/18/21, AMS CX, 18 CM + 3 RTE, penoscrotal. Have gained 3/4". Gay, married, age 68.

Once there were no size gains I gave up cycling. Now it's only used for what it was intended for.

I often inflate early morning when getting up to piss, and then going back to sleep so when I do wake up, I have morning wood. Like you said, morning wood is good! And it's just fun.

I don't think there's a single reason not to, but I do see a lot of good reasons to.

I am inflating about an hour a day on average, if using it or not. Like you, the length gains were during the first 6 months only.

Good topic Steve, I,m emulating morning wood for an hour most mornings. I have not had any meaningful gains in a 2 months and
I am happy with the gains made past my surgery size -about half an inch. I worry a bit about erosion now so an hour is just about right to enjoy having a dependable hard on.

I'm a bit remiss in cycling anymore but I do occasionally because I feel like going too long without a right proper stretching might cause atrophic shrinkage and since I've lost so much since my heyday (between 1-2" based on an old video from 1995). In my case though, my implant reached critical mass (full extension) at about 5 months out and I rarely get very much pressure from cycling. I feel more girth pressure (and slight pain) at the base than anything else, but no TIP pressure anymore. Early on I could feel the pain in the tips where it was stretching everything out, but that's been gone over a year now.

Remember, when we were all organic, we had several raging erections per night. Now if we cycle once or twice a week, we are now down from ~21 good stretches per week to only 1-2 each week. The more the better IMO, but I believe there is also a tradeoff in how much wear and tear I want to put on the cylinders, tube connections and pump. If I can make this one last to the grave and still get use from it when I need to, GREAT. If I have to replace it due to wear or blow-out, well then - Oh shit! Gotta do it.
