Maximum life of first implant a man have

Alot of man on FT have revisions of PI in some years. This poll will give idea about the life of an implant. If a person has revision 1-4 years, must mention reason for malfunctioning of the implant.
ED due to VL. Implant is the last resort. Tried Cialis 5mg that works but have Chinese brand.

Remember two things as you evaluate the responses to this poll.
1

If a man expires before his implant fails, his still-functioning implant will not be counted. And the average age here is a lot higher than the general population.

2

The population of men currently active on FrankTalk is missing a lot of men whose implants are functioning quite well. They may be too busy using the implants to participate.

So, the population of respondents to this poll will be skewed toward shorter implant service life. By how much is very difficult to estimate.

Yeah, A man, if mention his reason of malfunctioning an implant, this poll will give an idea why revision needed. I think most of the implant misalignment needs to be revised. Another reason is Implant broken and mechanical failure.

First implant was incorrectly installed which led to a kinked tubing between the pump and the reservoir breaking and losing the saline solution at 2 years 1 month. Second implant (by same Dr) was put in in May 2021 but the Dr had hit a blood vessel which let to a hematoma and subsequent infection (got to use it just 1 time). Had 2nd revision surgery done by Dr Ryan Terlecki on March 28th. Just cleared today for cycling and begin using the device with follow up appointment in 3 months. SOOOOOO HAPPY!

Dr Terlecki is a master at this and this has been a great experience. Sitting here fully rock hard pumped with just a light ache as things get use to stretching again. Hoping this one makes 15 or more years.
AMS700 CX 21cm with 3 RTE 4-2019 by Dr Natale - failed 5-2021. Revision 6-2021 with issue (scrotal hematoma and infection). Dr. Ryan Terlecki revision 3-28-2022 (AMS700 CX 21cm with 1.5cm RTE). Cylinder failure at 18 months. 24cm AMS700 CX 11-29-2023.
