Penis pointing up...for how long?

Postby Cartman » Fri Apr 08, 2022 3:47 pm

Became bionic March 4th, everything is fantastic so far. Saw Doc March 21st for progress report. Said I had to see him back April 18th for clearance to have sex again. Cycling 3-4 times a day. NO DISCOMFORT, but my penis is now wanting to back hanging down to the side while wearing underwear, as oppose to the "pointing up" after the surgery. Started to do this since last night, but it's now a little sore, due to the new position. Should I have waited for the next appointment to start letting it hang down? Should I go back to pointing up? or is this just normal and it will eventually feel natural like the pump in my scrotum. The pump feels like a natural part of me now. No pain and easy to pump and deflate on command.

Thanks

Forget about it, you don’t have to do it. Just let your dick hang.

Concur.

I wore jock strap and "pointed upwards" for first three weeks. Once I was given green light to start cycling the device a few times a day - I switched to wearing Separatec (great BTW) underwear.

Congrats on the progress and hope the 19th yields a GREAT report/review of your new bionic bone!

I'm told to wear my penis straight up until my follow-up visit at 4 weeks for activation. My doctor told me I'd be more pleased with the angle of my erection if I do it. I've noticed that now even partially inflated I'm at 2 o'clock which is actually a little better than I was before surgery. I don't know if it will stay like that after I start cycling but fingers are crossed. I like the way it looks right now.
58, implanted with 22 cm Titan (no RTE's) on April 1, 2022. Complete ED started after High Dose Rate Brachytherapy for prostate cancer. Tried everything else first but nothing worked. Wonderfully supportive wife!
