Yes, i heard him right. Also look at the members on this board who have an implant 8+ years most of them have at least 1 revision, and some have even more.


According to the literature, that doctor was wrong. You are looking at 80% still having them after a decade, something like 60% at 15 years. My initial uro said he would be upset if I needed a revision within 20 years. Now of course I did, but it wasn't due to mechanical failure.
