“It doesn’t feel like a real erection”

Postby defiant » Sat Nov 27, 2021 4:26 am

So this week I was speaking with an sexual health specialist who has a lot of experience with ED and implants and she has tried to steer me away from seeking out an implant quoting that they don’t feel like the real thing.

Well, okay, I suspect on some level, of course they won’t feel exactly the same but having done as much research as I have, I feel confident in saying a huge % of men say that after a point, it feels pretty much the same, the only difference being the way an erection is achieved.

I felt like her tone was one of someone who thinks of the implant negatively and that it has negative outcomes. Maybe she just didn’t agree with someone my age and aetiology getting one.

Regardless, there comes a point in this journey where you’re just ready…

So, do you agree or disagree with the statement?

That is a strange thing for her to say, that's like telling a leg amputee that a prosthetic won't feel like the same thing, does she think we are making it up?

Do I agree or disagree with her statement? Hmmmm…..

Many of you know that I’m seldom diplomatic in posting. I tend to say exactly what I think.

Your chickie baby sexual health ”expert” is full of shit. Obviously, she’s female per your description she is a woman. Unless she’s a victim of hermaphroditism, what does she know about having an erection?

There are some guys on here who will claim “nothing beats a blood filled dick.”there might be some truth there. But if you’ve lost (or never had) the ability to produce a blood filled dick, where does that leave you?

I’ve had my LGX for nearly 2 years now. It’s as much a part of me as the screws in my bicep or my 30 day contact lenses or the mesh they used to fix a hernia. In short, it doesn’t feel artificial.

It’s a nice looking cock. It’s a hair smaller than my best injection induced hard on, but not enough difference to really care. I was kind of an anomaly, I lost 1/8” in length but 1/2” of girth. It’s quite sensitive. I ejaculate and orgasm fine. My wife is especially fond that it gets truly hard. That was the nature of 35+ years of VL ED. Shots or pills would get me erect but I could lose it, start going soft at just the wrong time.

So,to those who would denigrate the implant: piss on them. They know not of that which they speak.
Robust, adolescent 65 year old. Venous leakage forever. Used shots, shots+pills 30+ years. Married to same wife ~35 yrs. Implanted 31Dec2019 in Austin Tx. AMS 700 LGX 18 cm with 5 cm RTE.

I suspected as much.

Thanks for the affirmative, encouraging reply!

I’m really glad the implant is serving you well.

The implant is for people that couldnt care less about it feeling fake!

I remember when i was first prescribed Viagra. I was 24 and the male urologist looked at me with a really, really concerned face and said something like: "Oh god, you do NOT want to become dependent on this pill for the rest fo your life... be really careful!".

I honestly couldnt believe the gap between us... he clearly had ZERO clue what its like to have ED.

If viagra gave me a solid erection, taking it for the rest of my life was a GIFT SENT FROM THE HEAVENS! Yet, this urologist thought it was the absolute worst thing he could imagine.
