Howling's Journey

Postby Howling8 » Wed Nov 03, 2021 2:53 pm

My recovery is at day 6 from my implant installation on 10/28/21. I'm still black and blue and swollen. I have paid when I let it hang at the base of the shaft where the tubes are bending down. Hurts when I use the jock strap to hold my cock straight up, so I've been alternating the jock and icing. The hair in my groin is growing back and that is irritating. I worry about infection and had bad buyer's remorse the last two nights that lasted for a few minutes. Trying to be optimistic and hoping for daily improvements.

Is my situation normal? I don't know, hope it's because I bruise easily from plavix (which was discontinued 5 days prior to surgery and 1 baby aspirin everyday for years.

This site has been an enormous help, so thanks to everyone who posts. Any help or advice is appreciated.
Thanks

You are right at the worst of it ... discomfort peaked for me about 5-6 days after surgery. Everyone's experience is different - but it sounds like yours is well within the normal range. Hang in there, you are just about to turn the corner ... then everything starts to get better every day. A month from now you will be cycling and will see the results ... two month's from now you will be using your new bionic friend and wondering why you didn't do this sooner.

Hang tough for a few more days - it will all be worth it.

Howling8,

I hope you're starting to feel better. I can relate to what you wrote about buyer's remorse. And mine lasted for a while.

After two weeks, my doctor deflated me. And then I just had to wait for six more weeks before I could do anything related to sex--jerk off, get head, fuck. And then, I went over two months before sex started to consistently feel good.

But now I'm really happy with my implant. I have sex regularly, and it's good sex. Masturbating also feels much better than when I couldn't get hard.

So, keep your chin up. Most of the guys here, it seems, have a period of time that's rough, but then things get better.
