Thoughts on Implant

Postby NorCol » Fri Oct 22, 2021 10:52 pm

Had RALP in August, 2017, both side nerves spared; however, it seems that was of no use whatsoever. Have tried PDE5s, VED, Tri-mix and Quad-mix to no avail. Have been on an emotional roller coaster, sometimes accepting my status and at others times angry about my situation. Even though I know I am not alone I have been battling with myself for no useful reason. Finally realized it was necessary to make some changes in my attitude and do something positive. I had IPP scheduled last year but the logistics of making it happen simply didn't fall into place. In-depth discussions with urologist about again moving forward with IPP. Had meeting with implant specialist to include examination at which time we discussed procedure, equipment and post-recovery. His recommendation, to which I agreed, was the AMS LGX. Surgery will be locally with same day release. He ordered a series of tests which came back with no indications of problems. Question as to his overall experience with information provided that since September 1st he has performed 10 IPPs, so on average 5 to 6 per month. I am scheduled for mid December and am looking forward to getting this done! As with my PCa, I have reviewed a lot of data and watched videos of surgery and am positive. This is my final frontier! Regards to all.

My RP surgeon said it would be nerve sparing and I may need daily Cialis. He removed all my nerves and told he did after the surgery. I was so angry about my choice of treatments, I had PTSD. I didn't calm down till I got my IPP. You are on the right path. You will enjoy it and put the past behind you. good luck

You will love your new you. I also had Radical Prostate surgery. Instant dead Dick. Tried all the tricks. Beat myself up daily. Insurance would not cover implant . Waited for Medicare. I also got LGX. Wow. It is wonderful. Good luck.

I love my Lgx. The one thing I have discovered is it shinks quite a bit, most of us on FT have gone from “ growers to showers”. If looking great in the gym shower is important to you , you may want to consider the Cx or Titan. My Lgx relaxes over an inch between from full hard on to hanging flaccid, it will be closer to natural penis behavior. How much do you want to show off Lol. Good luck loving my choice

I’m sort of playing with it at this point no real pain anymore and confidence growing, the last thing my Doc said to me on last face to face opt was, Use that thing you’ll get it all back. At this point I am can’t keep my hands off of it lol, after twenty years of dick grief it’s such a liberating place to be.
Thanks all ! 4 pumps ~ wink
