Flaccid pics

Postby 68CatFan » Tue Aug 10, 2021 5:56 pm

I am curious about the flaccid state of the penis after an implant. I've seen plenty of pics of men showing off their erections but haven't seen too many when the penis is flaccid. The reason I am wondering is because the wife and I are nudists and and implant is in my future. I'm going to be walking around / sunbathing / playing games naked and don't want to look like I'm aroused when I'm not. Does anyone have any pics of themselves while flaccid. Does the Titan allow you hang at all or are you actually sticking out? From what I've read so far the LGX might be the best choice for me...
Fifty-one years old. ED started at age forty. I took Cialis for eight years and used Trimix for almost three. Implanted 12/6/22 by Dr. Jonathan Clavell. AMS 700CX 21cm.

While your flaccid state may be an issue (particularly with the Coloplast for a few months) remember that you will have the implant for years.

Observing that you will be flaccid the vast majority of the time and erect only for relatively short periods, making your choice of device based on the flaccid state vs based on the erect state is tantamount to selecting a car based on how it fits in your garage (where it spends the vast majority of the time) vs how it drives.

Car looks good in the garage :: Penis looks good in the nudist venue and is convenient stowed away flaccid in clothes

How does the car drive on the road :: How well does the implanted penis please my partner and me.

I recommend you choose the implant that is best for you in use for sex. That is its purpose. Deal with the flaccid state however you must.

You did not give us your size. Coloplast is definitely the choice for the larger phallus as the AMS devices are narrower, thus has less column buckling strength. Not that the AMS devices are bendy, but facts are facts. If you have a penis of 8 inches, likely the Coloplast would be best, even if you had to explain yourself a few times or take a hiatus from the nudist camp for a few months. Remember, too, the Coloplast in a longer penis will (by gravity) bend down eventually.

You did not mention if you are a "grower" or a "shower". If you are a grower, you will probably be self-conscious about your new appearance even if completely flaccid, since your flaccid state will certainly be more sizable than what you have been used to. There are lots of men (showers) who, even when flaccid might get a double-take in the nude. You are likely to be one of those with no social consequences to concern you, wherever you are.

Summary: My advice is to get the implant that gives you the best sexual function and let the flaccid chips fall where they may and deal with that fallout diplomatically if/when anything occurs. Don't trade good sex for years to come (if it comes to taking a hiatus from nudity) for a few months waiting for the implant to soften up (or down).

68Cat:

They’re not real recent but there are a couple of pics of my LGX flaccid in this thread:

https://www.franktalk.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=8524&p=147937#p147937

I’ll second what LostSheep had to say. Select the implant best for you after consultation and discussion with your Doc. Not just for the nudist resort.

I wanted a Titan. I had a Doc lined up to install one. Scheduling issues wiped out my date, and he couldn’t do me in 2019. I had hit my insurance catastrophic cap that year, so this was going to be a freebie. I found a different surgeon, who could get me done....but he preferred AMS. I agonized over it, knowing I’d lose girth, but decided to go ahead.

If it lasts ten years, would I get another LGX? Probably, I’ve still got plenty of girth, and I’d be impressed by durability if it went ten years. I like this model fine.

If it died tomorrow, I’d probably opt for a Titan because this one had only made it 20 months and a Titan is arguably best for thicker organs.

At the end of the day, they’re both great medical devices (AMS & Coloplast) and the decision as to which you use ought to be made carefully, with the doctor, and weighing every fact bearing on the decision.

Thanks for the nod, Txagq8,

I will be uncharacteristically succinct and reflect back what you reflected back of my post

Trading short-term advantage (convenience at the nudist venue) for long term advantage (an implant more suited for one's penis-PERHAPS! since the question may become moot if the OP's penis actually does mesh with an LGX regardless of any other considerations)

Geez, I had intended the post to be just a single compound sentence.

The short-term advantage of a nice, respectable, nudist-friendly flaccid vs the long-term advantage of an implant most ideal for the penis at hand regardless of flaccid issues.

Even THAT was longer than I wanted.

I have a Titan implant.

While I'm unwilling to post a picture, I will tell you that I hang at about 5:30 when deflated.

So, I don't look like I have a hard on.

The biggest difference in appearance is in my ball sack. I now look like I have three testicles because of the pump. But that's most noticeable when I'm inflated. When I'm deflated, my dick pretty much hides that difference.

Hey Lost, why does the Coloplast bend down eventually by gravity in a longer penis?

Second what the others said. Talk to your doctor and see what he says you will need.

Having had both, the titan took about 6 months or so before it was hanging down. Ams was hanging down as soon as the swelling and trauma from surgery went away.

No real difference in the flaccid or not pumped up. 5.5 inches hanging down over my sac with both.

If you have peyronies or other internal problems I would go for the titan. I like their pump size better to.
18 cm plus 1 rte titan installed March 2019. Revision March 2020 by Dr. Andrew Todd, Richmond KY. He replaced the titan with an AMS 700 LGX 18 cm cylinder plus 2 rte for 20 cm total length.

Oh, Lost, I think I figured out what you meant. You were referring to the Coloplast eventually bending down in the flaccid state, not the inflated state.
