I think for me it was having my prostate removed. That is the major factor for controlling your piss. I try to squeeze all I can out but there seems to always be a few drops that come out after and my wife will notice. Plus when I finally cum at the end of intercourse I may squirt some piss in her even if I piss before we start. It does take me close to 30 minutes to get there though (wife loves that!).

Although I haven't had my prostate out or had any other radical procedures such as TURP, HoLEP or ablation, I did have UroLift implants installed a couple of months before my IPP was installed, so my urethra where it goes through my prostate is basically a balloon instead of a collapsed drinking straw. That in itself might be why I retain a little urine in my urethra after peeing.

Before bedtime I make sure to completely drain the snake. Standing over the toilet, I lean forward slightly with the palm of one hand against the wall in front of me. Then I let the urine flow and dribble, dribble, drible. After the last drop, I contract my pelvis (kegel) three times spaced about 5 seconds apart. After the 3rd contraction, the snake is void of urine. No more drips, runs or errors! :D
Implanted 5/6/20 by Dr. Jesse Mills at UCLA; AMS 700 LGX 18 cm w/2 cm RTEs. I'm 76 & fit but had ED for 20 years. Pills/injections ultimately failed, including 3 ER trips for Priapism; Shockwave & embryonic stem cell therapies didn't help either.
