A couple implant issues.

Postby Meddman1 » Sat Dec 26, 2020 3:26 pm

I got mine in March of 2020. First it only take no more than two pumps to inflate. After inflating my penis is firm but no longer in length than when before pumping. In other words it’s approx 5”. Before inflating and 5” when firm. I used to me almost 8 “ when able to get normal erections.

Secondly, the pump is causing pain because it’s so low in scrotum. Additionally, it’s hard to pump. It’s like it’s has a layer of something over it. My scrotum is almost firm also making it difficult to use pump. When I inflate it causes pain.

I had to have an a revision because the right side tube fell out of the penis and located itself into the scrotum. During revision the surgeon put the tube back in and I noticed it now goes up further into the penis then the left was. Now when inflated it pulls slightly to one side.

I’m beyond frustrated. The thought of having additional surgery makes me crazy. Any advise? I can’t find anything on adverse effects that say the tube can actually come out. Did surgeon mess up. ? I told him before revision surgery that I wanted the entire thing replaced. After surgery I was told he only put the tube that fell out back up into penis.

2 pumps to get hard sounds strange. My LGX takes 20 pumps for masterbation and 30 for rock hard sex and I only have 15 cm tubes. 6 inch of useable dick.

Every implanted guy applies a different amount of pressure on the pump to achieve the desired amount of hardness. So there is a wide variation in the number of pumps it takes to achieve the desired amount of hardness. In my case, for masturbation and blow jobs it takes about 7 or 8 wall-to-wall pumps to get the desired amount of hardness I want for these activities; about 20 wall-to-wall and 15 quick squeezes for near maximum hardness for wife on top position.

Implanted 5/6/20 by Dr. Jesse Mills at UCLA; AMS 700 LGX 18 cm w/2 cm RTEs. I'm 76 & fit but had ED for 20 years. Pills/injections ultimately failed, including 3 ER trips for Priapism; Shockwave & embryonic stem cell therapies didn't help either.

I was getting ready for sex started to pump it up and noticed I wasn’t getting erect. Started feeling around and found that the right side tube had located itself into my scrotum. I could feel the tip down by there. I’ve been asking if anyone has c even heard of this happening. It either had to be a surgeon mistake or a manufacturer defect. Either way I had to go back into surgery and now having issues again. I’m beyond pissed.

Hi Meddman - I'm having a hard time understanding how the cylinder had enough space to work it's way backwards and into the scrotum (unless you're describing the base of the cylinder moving forward).

In addition, I'm curious as to why this wouldn't be a re-sizing issue and need a new device. IMO after going through it twice with two different doctors, I would seek out another implanter if possible as they seem to have slightly different techniques based on their experience.

I have read about anecdotal references to incomplete or improperly sutured corporotomies after installing the cylinders which have allowed the sutures to work loose and allow the rear tip to drop into the scrotum. I found references to this while researching before my implant on 10/28/2019 and way before Meddman1 had his ill-fated experience with his. I can't remember where I found the references to cylinder drop-out but I definitely found it before late October 2019. One note though, this only is a thing for PENOSCROTAL installation (which I received). If a surgeon installs the implant through INFRAPUBIC, meaning from above the dick instead of below, it's almost impossible for it to "FALL OUT" because even if the sutures were to loosen, gravity would still keep the cylinder in place for the most part.

The entire device in the penis came out. I literally could feel the tip of the device in my scrotum. I could only feel one tube in the left side. The surgeon confirmed that it in fact same out. It was not the rear tip. What I’m asking is has anyone had this or heard of such a thing. Also after revision surgery I only have to pump a couple times to get erect. Plus it’s now impossible to inflate now at all. It’s painful where the pump is located and it feels like the pump is surrounded by something. I’ve lost at least two inches of length and lost girth. I’m beyond frustrated and thinking of legal action at this point.

I do not want to get into an argument over what happened. It happened. It fell out. Was this malpractice? Then after revision surgery it’s still not right. Something is wrong. First it should take more than two pumps to gain an erection. Two the pain constantly where the pump hangs too low and literally looks like it’s trying to pop out of my scrotum. Both tips are not the same in the penis one is lower. The one that was reinstalled is higher causing my penis when it’s erect to curve. My penis is the same size after pumping it up by as it is deflated. Only difference is hardness. Now when I try to inflate it’s painful because the ca area is so inflamed and the pump won’t pump correctly. I’ve reset the pump and nothing has changed. I need advice. Real advice. Not saying you don’t get how it fell out. It did.
