Do I have to tell TSA when I travel? Will is set off the alarm?

Agfa,
I have Titan also. I am frequent flyer nationwide and also internationally. Never had any problems at the airport neither here in the State nor at any international airport.

Agfa13, thanks for responding. After my pump issues, and seeing how many guys end up with revisions because of the pump, I really thought long an hard about this. My last implant lasted 25 days!

But the stowage issue is a real concern. Also, girth. Thanks.

I had a Tactra installed 4 months ago. I like it cause it works and is easy to use, as was surgery and recovery. The downsides I see are: you probably won’t get quite the girth and length you can with the pump, and it’s definitely “there”. I don’t care about the first because I’m just glad it works and honestly I don’t think it makes much difference to your partner. Wearing it has been easy because I’ve just been hanging out in my sweats or bathing suit, but it will take an adjustment in my wardrobe to a roomier pant. Fortunately a lot of men’s pants are being with a stretch fabric. I love having my bulge though and don’t mind it showing after 3 years of not getting it up.

dcmusc,

Have you made a decision yet?

I'm in a similar situation deciding between the genesis malleable and a virgin titan implant. Biggest concern is concealing it at work with dress pants and a tucked in shirt. I have a 19cm stretched flaccid. I'm leaning towards the malleable but I'm trully concerned with it's concealment.

Aren't you concerned about the girth difference? The Titan should give you decent girth depending upon your bodies potential.
Pictures that I've seen of the malleable rods sure don't look like they have very much girth to them. It sure seems to me like you are comparing apples to oranges with the implants.
You might want to research this a bit more.

In my case, I still maintain a great erection with high doses of tadalafil (>=60mg), so the doctor reassured me that I would maintain latent erection and coupled with the malleable, when stimulated, I wouldn't notice any girth difference. Besides, I would have my balls completely free, avoid pump and tubing issues as well as no concerns with pump concealment with new partners. Theferore, currently, I'm mostly concerned with concealing the malleable when clothed.

If you have great erections then why the need for an implant? Also, not sure about the malleables, most of the erectile tissue in the penis is destroyed during surgery. So anything close to a natural full erection isn't going to happen.
If we had a friendship relationship. I'd highly advise you to get a second opinion on the natural girth issue. Oh wait, I'm going to advise that because of FT.
If the doctor is mistaken? Then you are the one that will suffer. I never trust one opinion. Learned many years ago dealing with the medical profession. Double check everything.
Sorry that I'm over bearing but in the long run I want all members to succeed. I wish the same for you.
Are you willing to mention your surgeons name & what country that you live in?

Firstly, thank you for your concern.

Pills (tadalafil specifically) worked amazingly well for roughly one year. Now, pills work intermittently. Without pills, I can barely masturbate. I'm not satisified with this aspect of the oral medication, it has made me too aware of the possibility of a failure. I expect the implant to completely fix my intermittent erection as well as indirectly cure the anxiety related to maintaing the erection as well. I like the idea of an implant equally for both of these reasons.

I have visited 4 different urologists in my country. None are high volume and from what I have gathered, there isn't one here. Out of 4, 2 refused to even discuss implants with me, due to being too young and healthy otherwise (bloodwork done) and referred me to therapy.
1 wanted to charge me a fortune for the doppler exam and required many other exotic exams that needed to be done at his office exclusively.
The remaining urologist that seems extremely knowledgeable about prosthetic urology did a doppler exam (and charged reasonably for it) and reported venous leakage. He is the one who provided the information about latent erection, which is indeed contrary to what we hear from most other urologists.

Yes, I'm accepting of the fact that I might lose girth with a malleable, even the 13mm genesis. And yes, I naturally have plenty of it as well, one of the doctors asked me if I had PMMA done. Still, If I coud be given a guarantee of being able to conceal a malleable under work clothes, that would still be my choice given the considerations I made previously about the pump and the tubing of an inflatable device.
