MK, you would have to be masochistic to undergo this surgery, or any surgery for fun. There are many who have opted for surgery who still have had the capability for sex. Not a good decision in my opinion.

Again, I'm sorry for your outcome. Unfortunately you are in the minority. Penile implantation has the highest satisfaction rates 87% of any prosthesis. And most in the survey responded that when it fails, which it will after time, they would do it again.

Have you given up all hope, or are you still hoping to resolve this issue?

Freddy,
I decided to wait for 6 months with still some hope for getting better.
If nothing good happens in the next for months, I will ask for removal of implant. Suffering longer then 6 months is not worth.
Probably, it was not meant for me.

Tsanchez,
Too many to count. I’m in PM with someone and I listed them in PM.
I do not see many people here who believe that implant can go wrong even without infections. Want to spare them from reading about trouble. They don’t believe in it anyway.

You are few days behind me. How is your recovery going on?

Seems it is certain that I need to practice some different ways to inflate and I am just not giving the bulb enough pressure to inflate it the way it should.

MK, I hate to hear that you’re having so much trouble with yours. I really hope that it improves over the next several weeks. I have to admit, with the user troubles that I have been having, at first I was wondering if it was going to be working correctly at all as well.

Again, many thanks to all of you that have posted your techniques so far and for the link to the video. I’ll give it a watch and I promise that I will practice every day. (Reminds me of being a kid and saying the same thing about my piano lessons!). I’ll be sure to report back. 8====D ~~ ~

Mk,
I feel your pain. Have had problems but nothing like yours. Don't know how you cope. 6 months was what my wife and I decided too. I'm still not out of the woods but at least I can see the opening ahead. I just emailed Joe a member who reached out to me early on. Similar size to us. He was 5 3/4 before implant and after 2 years was 5. Another guy on this site was 5 before implant and now is 4. Apparently some guys really scar up tightly because of implant surgery and have a tough time breaking free. Try scarring cream or find the active ingredient and soak your penis in it. (with caution) You may need to become creative. Ask your doc about a traction device. If your tips cannot break the scarring then give them some help.

It’s been a few days since I have tried out my new pump and technique. I am happy to say that I have found a way that works. Seems that all along I have been pumping the ball too close to the end of it. I pumped now right next to the base of it where the deflating button is, and it works 100 times better. Thanks again to everyone with the suggestions and tips!

I’ve had a lot of trouble pumping also and I called Boston scientific today and the lady told me about air bulbbles in the system after you have surgery, she told me how to bleed off the air and so far it’s been getting better little by little. It’s sad doctors don’t tell us this stuff and leave us frustrated or regretful.

Hey buddy, don't give up yet. Try the hot bath and make an appointment to go see your surgeon. It will get better, you just have to trust me and give it a bit more time. :)
