JayGould,
Even if there is a complication in one of your revisions, then what? Are you going to not get an implant and be sexually inactive because you might get a complication in a future revision?
And if you read the scientific literature about the statistical probability of a implant complication, you will find that the VAST majority of those who suffer from one either smoke, are obese, have diabetes, are old in age, and more often than not have a combination of conditions I just mentioned. !!!! OR they didnt go to a top surgeon like Kramer or Eid !!!! I am willing to bet you can keep your chance of complications very low, in spite of numerous revisions, IF you dont smoke, dont get fat, don't develop diabetes, and be smart about who you let operate on you. And this basically means do you have the discipline to maintain a healthy lifestyle the rest of your life? Now, this doesnt make you immune to complications, but it should make you confident you can do something to avoid it.
If I get a complication from a future revision, then more than likely I can get it fixed. We have seen this plenty of times on this forum, IE alibaba, who had terrible first rounds, and then had great outcomes when Kramer revised their implant. A complication is not a end all, but a major head ache. And I am willing to take the risk of a complication to have my sex life back instead of forgoing my young sex life in order to avoid a complication.
I know its a hard thing to wrap your head around... getting an implant and all. But, if you have exhausted all other means, then the fears of potential, most likely improbable, complications are only going to make you lose more time in your life. And for me, I know have exhausted my other options. I have tried viagra/cialis, VED, stem cell therapy (did absolutely nothing), Class IV infrared laser therapy, and a whole host of alternative shit. I also have an MRI that clearly shows corporal cavernosum scarring in my left corporal body. The only known solution at this time for my condition is a penile implant, but I can feel confident that I tried all other means ( I didnt try injections because of the known risk of increased scarring). So, if you are like me, and you have no other option as of right now, then its time to overcome the fears and dedicate energy to finding who will give you your best possible outcome, which IMO is Kramer or Eid.
And if it makes you feel better, I am funding this 100% on my own. My garbage insurance doesn't cover a cent of it. And at 26 I have acquired the ~$25000 to get this done, and I am absolutely sure of myself that I am doing the right thing, despite putting such (relatively) large amounts of resources on the line.
Titan OTR. Dr. Hakky - successful surgery and very happy with outcome.
My advice: choose a world-class surgeon and make yourself the healthiest you can.
