Sons knew I had prostate cancer resulting in removal back in 2018. Told them this was to correct some urological issues from the prostatectomy. However, this last Christmas I leveled with my older son about the implant knowing that some day he may face the same diagnosis. This was a celebratory talk saying that if he had to go through this, there is a happy and satisfying answer (implant). I seemed to appreciate the honesty.

Told my family I had a cyst on my testicle that needed removed. That thought alone kept the males quiet, females felt sorry. Finally had to tell my oldest boy when we flew together internationally as I knew it would set off the scanners.

I had my surgery on 12/14 with Dr. Clavell in Houston. I have 2 kids, younger 13 and 9. I just told them I had a procedure and that I have to take it easy for several weeks. They have been find with it and can't wait until the end of Jan.
