Well Tuesday is the big day!!! I become a true man again. So glad it’s here. No matter how many times I’ve did this I still get nervous. I’m not nervous of my doctor or his great team. They are wonderful!!! Just the deal of being put to sleep. I had trouble with the catheter the first time but each time since I’ve always ask them to use extra extra lube and have not had any issues with that. My throat is a little uncomfortable from the tube for about three days also. Say a little prayer Tuesday for a fellow going back bionic guy

Well today was a great day. Dr Hakky did my revision surgery today. I got back home late this afternoon and I am now icing. No pain so far and everything is wrapped like a mummy. When I woke up I was sad and upset…inside I was so happy but my emotions were that of sad. Really embarrassing but I can’t explain it. The staff at Northside Gwinnett were awesome as usual. They currently have a new surgery center and it’s really nice but the staff are the BEST ! Dr Hakky and his team were fantastic!!! They are very well trained, dedicated, and friendly !!! A very special patient oriented team.
I’ll try to keep progress updated.
I go back in two weeks for post op visit.
Thanks to all that said a prayer for me today !

Well day two post surgery.
Hoping to be able to use the restroom today. I’m not having any pain. The wrap is still on and drain is still in. They both are to be removed tomorrow and then I can shower. These sink baths remind me of primitive camping when I was a kid. lol
I’ve been doing a lot of just resting. I been using the air device for my lungs. I sat up yesterday for a couple hours in a chair. My lip is a little irritated from the tube where they put me to sleep.
Thanks again for the support here on FT

Did everything go well with the surgery? Did Hakky say anything about it? Really hope you can have an implant that last 15+ years this time around

Hourglass peyronies from stretching. Losing girth.
Several small circumferential fibrosises. Sex and masturbation makes it worse.

Thanks for your support. Dr Hakky said the surgery went well and expects a great outcome. I still have no soreness and very little bruising. I took the mummy wrap off tonight. Things have been compressed but are loosening up. I can feel all the pump and release valve area. I still have the drain in but it probably will be removed tomorrow.
I’ve had several revisions. Some were partial and some compete. Some surgeries were because of the device and other because of body failures.
Thanks again and I’ll continue to post updates.

Friday Day #3 post surgery:
Everything is going great. I have not had any pain so no meds for that. I’ve taken my antibiotics daily. I removed my drain which was different…very funny feeling and I had forgotten the length of that sucker. I was able to shower afterwards and that in itself made me feel better. I been up moving around the house. I made some tea and loaded the dishwasher. The implant appears to maybe have one pump of fluid in it. I can squeeze the implant and feel it give. The tips area in the gland are sensitive to touch.
Getting ready to start today (Saturday Day #4) I think it’s off to a good day …woke with a semi erection…lol

Ya'll scare the hell out of me. I am 25 days post surgery and I read all this. Coloplast Titan says they guarantee implants for life, but what the hell if you have to have 5 revision!!! Man I am scared now!

Favalodo:

Let me be a little bit philosophical, then hit you with reality up aside the head:

Some people are so afraid of dying that they never truly are alive.

What I mean by that is if a guy cowers in the corner, afraid of the bad things that might occur, he will never experience the good.

In Bionic Dick land, I’d guess that better than 9 out of 10 guys…maybe 95 out of 100….get their implant done, heal up trouble free or maybe just a bit of discomfort, and disappear to spend their time using their AMS or Titan until they wear it out, 10 years or more later. Then they have a new one put in and it’s no big deal.

The population of the website is skewed: guys looking for solutions, guys who are dealing with problems, and a small handful like me who were grateful for the support we got when we took the plunge and are paying it forward by being around for a kind word, personal experience advice, and moral support.

If implants were not a viable and attractive option there wouldn’t be a growing market for them. We see more and better surgeons gravitating to implants as a specialty.

I will not and can not tell another man if an implant is right for him. I will tell someone that worrying about low percentage complications is foolishness.

Visualize a great outcome. Minor surgery to eliminate ED once and for all. Device is going to work 10 years or better before replacement. If there are complications and it doesn’t work out that way, you can deal with the challenges. But the odds are alarmingly on your side that you won’t have to.
Age 68. Physically fit educated red neck in Texas. Very married. 23 cm (18+5) of LGX installed by Dr. Bryan Kansas 12/31/2019. I fought the ED and my wife & I won. I’m either full of shit or sound advice. You decide which.
