And on the other end of the scale, 6-8 full pumps of my bulb gets me to a comfortable erection for intercourse, 2-3 pumps above that is a painful erection.

Doesn't seem right.
I am waiting between pumps, should I wait longer?
Also I think I can withstand this stretch infinitely, which is kinda sad.

Pump it until it's hard enough to do the job and enjoy!

My MS pump gets ROCK solid where it won't take any more squeezes. I can switch to my dominant hand and get a faint squeak several times (all the time my penis feels more and more like it's about to explode). The last 2-3 tiny "SQUEAKER" pumps with my dominant hand are the only ones that cause any discomfort anymore since I'm 123 days since implantation. I've pretty much maxed out my implant (15 cm penis length, 15 cm implant length, IKR, impossible, huh?)
When I get the last hard pump that does makes any squeaking and causes anymore pressure pain, the remaining attempts are like squeezing a glass marble... absolutely no give to the bulb. Apparently my relief valve is non-existent or non-functional.
