My dad taught me the three rules for (old) men:

Never trust a fart.
Never miss a chance to pee.
Never waste an erection.

That is all.

It would be great if this board cold agree on a standard for citing injection concentrations, a "30" tells me nothing. Is that the 0.30 cc reading on the needle and then what is the mix concentration? And vice versa, having a mix concentration (say 40 mcg/ml) does not say how much is injected. Perhaps a standard could be how many mcg of active ingredient per injection? But that only works for Mono-Mixes of alprostodil (prostaglndin) as the ingredients and proportions seem to vary on Bi or Tri-Mixes. Perhaps admin could come up with a format and/or folks list their entire mix proportion per ml and then the injected quantity.

I'm have no credentials of any kind that should lead you to believe anything I post below is anything other than idle blather. Ask your doctor.

Most guys list volume by units. I guess that's because we use standard insulin syringes and that's how volume is indicated on them. There are 100 units in a ML/CC of a standard insulin syringe. Lets say I use 10 units, which is what I often use. That would be 0.1ml/cc or one tenth of a ML/cc. Most guys would say 10 units although sometimes they will just say 10. I'm not diabetic but I understand there are other variables which could make the above statement untrue but I think it's accurate for our purposes.

As for the rest of your question, I agree, it gets confusing. I use mono-mix of 80mcg/ml. So at 10 units or 0.1ml (10%), I'm getting 10% X 80 = 8mcg of alprostadil. (Somebody check me, I'm really shitty at math.) It's obviously more complicated with the other mixes. To start with, I notice there doesn't seem to be consistency in the order the drugs are listed for tri-mix, etc. Alprostadil seems to usually be listed last but not always. So you would need to know the amount of each drug per ML and the volume injected (usually by units) and then do the math for each drug. There doesn't seem to be any truly standard mixes. Several of the bigger pharmacies have their own standard mixes but there doesn't seem to be any industry standards for mixes. For those that have standard mixes you can usually find a similar but not identical standard mix at another pharmacy that has standard mixes. My pharmacy is a smaller one and just mixes up whatever the doctor ordered.

I doubt you'll be able to convince many users to work out the math and express their injection doses in actual amount of the base drugs injected per dose. It would be interesting and would make it easier to compare what you are using to what others use.

I hope that made some kind of sense. I also hope it was correct. I don't have great confidence in either one.

I turned the injections over to my 'naughty nurse.' She's become very adept at hitting the sweet spot every time. The doc said bury the needle, and that was too deep in my case. My lover goes 3/4 of the needle and it works every time. She enjoys the responsibility, I guess. I'm good with it. Last night it was painless--didn't even feel the stick. And when I do, it's no big deal. Well worth the pleasure to come (cum, LOL).

She's a terrific woman and lover. She's twenty years my junior, and when we first got together, I was worried that my age would turn her off. Instead, it turned her on. Next, the ED demon showed up and I was worried that would put an end to things. She is very patient. I told her I would do anything to take care of the ED situation. Tried switching out different oral drugs. No luck. Tried the pump. No luck. When I showed up with a syringe and a bottle of Trimix, I thought her eyes would pop out of her head. I did the first injection with an Autoject and it worked. She loved that. Then I literally went five or six tries with no or poor results. She said, Let me try this. As I mentioned, it's her job now and she loves it and is very good at it. I fill the syringe, hand it to her, and she never misses. We engage in all kinds of humor. I ask her if she's ready to prick her prick's prick, or some such childish joke and she's good to go. It's actually part of our foreplay now. Hope you can get your lady to come around. The 'stick' hurts less when she does it. Besides, I can't always get it right. She does. Good luck to you!

Sounds great! I'm glad you two have worked out such a satisfactory routine.
