Just a suggestion....think of your injected penis as a water balloon you chose to fill. You can leave a little room for more water or you can fill it full. If you go with the highest dose of injection, your balloon will be stretched to its limits. But remember you still have a brain, and during intercourse, your brain will still sense the sexuality and that stimulus will tell the penis to engorge. If it already engorged as much as it can, any further engorgement could put you in a situation many have written about here. Too erect to climax. For those of us with ED it seems impossible to fathom. But it appears to be true. Leave a little room in your penis for nature to still help out and that crucial moment may actually be more likely.

I'm new to the injection process as well. I have a post out there from couple weeks ago. I was very upset and thought I had screwed things up getting excited when the first time did good (and then overdid it a bit).

However, found that there are times I think I put it into the right place, but really missed the cc. When this happens, I get ache and some swelling at the base, but not an erection. I did fine in the Dr office the first time, next 3 or 4 times, not so good. In the last week, after reviewing the notes from folks responses to my post and a checking out a couple of the videos recommended I have been doing much better.

First -- I have to go deeper than I thought. Second, I have been aspirating to confirm getting in right place. It really does take some practice to get it right. I have also found out that when I get it right I don't really need much more than the 20 unit dose I started with (gets me good solid for 1.5 hours). I suggest you don't go too high a dose until you are sure you are getting it right. I also found I am practicing without the wife watching or expecting so that there is less pressure. If works, then I let wife know and go from there.

Note -- correct number of units does depend on the mix you have. Mine is 10/30/.5 (Standard #1) Also, found staying standing until it is up makes a difference, after that doesn't matter position.

Not too worried about getting in the right spot or deep enough, I go all the way in at just slightly above 9 position with a standard 1/2" needle. Since I have been on insulin for a couple years now I am quite comfortable with giving myself the injection properly. I asked about aspirating and was told that it really is not needed and frowned upon. As far as my dosing, I went from 10 in the office, 20 at home the first time and 30 this last time. time of erection was 5 minutes and then 15 minutes. Figuring that maybe 30 would be the sweet spot of at least 30 minutes.

Now since it barely lasted 5 minutes and I got a lot of pain I'm guessing perhaps too fast of an injection? It was also the first time for the left side injection, but again, I'm sure I was in the sweet spot. I barely got a 5 minute erection and yes, I was actually standing at the end of the bed while I was massaging in the shot, watching my wife masturbate herself. :D We had done probably 30 minutes of foreplay before I injected and when I did climb on I only lasted about 5 minutes and I was getting a lot of pain that took probably 4-5 hours to subside. Since wife is understanding that we are experimenting and learning I'm not too concerned about the pressure to perform and neither is she. Yes, I want to get to orgasm, and I would have this last time if I had lasted more than 5 minutes.

Right now my 3rd injection will be to drop back to 25 units, inject slower and might use cock and ball rings as well. I'm understanding it is going to take a while to master the dosage and get times right so I know it will be a journey.

I know you're sure you hit the sweet spot but you can go too deep. I always judge by the pressure required on the plunger. Sometimes I'll think I'm deep enough but find too much pressure, go deeper and still find pressure. I'll then back it out just a smidge and find I'm golden.

I've never aspirated. I started out on Edex and aspirating with that is just not possible. There is a video on YouTube by a lady doctor that I think is very good and she does recommend aspirating. I think this is it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RB-s4jpqETE

Good luck

Each time I have injected the plunger has gone down very easily in fact I think that's why I injected too fast this last time. I've seen that video before, but she does not mention aspirating. I guess I could try it though. *shrug* Thanks for sharing though, it's a learning curve for sure.

You're correct, in which case I don't remember which video I saw them mention it on. But like I said, I've never done it.

On aspirating ... when I inject I always wait a few seconds before pushing the plunger. When I do that the syringe bottom will almost always get a tiny bead of blood backing up into the syringe -- kind of self-aspirating i guess. And I am then sure it is in the right place. This is after really good plumping up before sticking the needle so there is lots of blood available for sampling.

Thanks Jim, I'll try that too at some point. I'm thinking I will try aspirating next time just for giggles but I'll look for this as well. Of course sometimes I have trouble even plumping up very much. Thanks for the input!

Yeah, that's not really going to happen with me either. There's no plumping without the injection first or a pump. I wish! It's a dead dick without the juice.
